When Gigi Hadid posts their daughter Khai’s entire name in a fourth-birthday post, followers of Zayn Malik lose it
When fans learned that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s 4-year-old kid shares his surname, they went crazy.
Gigi, 29, posted some pictures from her Baby Yoda-themed party on Instagram on Thursday, along with the full name of their kid, Khai.
The name of their little daughter was made public in a picture of a scroll with a Descendants motif that said, “Khai Malik,” along with an invitation for her to join Auradon Prep, the Disney TV movie school, from King Ben and his “councilors.”
After first dodging the subject, fans were thrilled when the model—who broke up with the 31-year-old One Direction frontman in 2021—finally revealed Khai’s last name.
One admirer yelled, “THE 11TH PIC WHEN IT’S WRITTEN KHAI MALIK.”
Another commented, “KHAI MALIK” STOP IM SOBBING.
“Khai Malik” “Our Girl,” was all that one comment said.
“Khai Malik” is extremely fortunate! Another person gushed.
Since neither of them appeared in the photos, it’s unclear if Zayn or Gigi’s current boyfriend, 49-year-old actor Bradley Cooper, attended the celebration.
However, Gigi and Zayn paid heartfelt homage to their daughter.
The model shared many photos from the vibrant celebration along with a heartfelt remark about her “loving” and “adventurous” kid.
We celebrated our daughter’s fourth birthday all week long! She added, “She will be in the water from dawn to dusk if possible. She loves animals (fantastical ones too), music, baby Yoda, all things nature & bugs, Descendants, and anything squishy or miniature.”
“She is inquisitive, daring, affectionate, and incredibly clever… Khai – being your mother brings me the utmost happiness and pride in life!”
Zayn posted a message on Instagram to his daughter on her birthday.
“Happy birthday to the most important person in my life,” he said beside a photo he posted of him carrying Khai at the beach.
I am incredibly happy to call you my daughter and love you more than words can say. I am also grateful for every moment I get to spend with you as you grow into the amazing person I already know you to be. Without you, my life would have drastically changed four years ago today, and I would not be the man I am today.
Zayn and Gigi dated for around five years. In September 2020, their daughter was born.
They parted ways in October 2021 as a result of alleged conflicts between Zayn and Gigi’s mother Yolanda.
Zayn was accused of harassing someone four times. In September 2021, he allegedly shoved Yolanda into a dresser and called her a “f*****g Dutch sl*t.” He entered a plea of not guilty.
Since then, Gigi has moved on with Bradley, who has a daughter, age seven, with 38-year-old model Irina Shayk. The two were initially connected in October 2023.
