When Angelina Jolie was 22, she hired a hitman to plot her own assassination, but the assassin’s reaction to her gruesome scheme was unexpected

When Angelina Jolie was struggling with suicide thoughts in the past, she hired a hitman to arrange her own assassination.

The 49-year-old Oscar winner, who is currently in the midst of a contentious divorce with 60-year-old Brad Pitt, initially disclosed in 2001 that, at the age of 22, she had a conversation with an assassin.

“This is going to sound insane, but there was a time I was going to hire somebody to kill me,” she revealed to IMDB.

She stated that her loved ones would have had an easier time dealing with her death if she had been murdered rather than taking her own life.

In an additional interview with The Face from 2003, she revealed that finding a hitman in New York is not that difficult. As crazy as it may sound, I believe that many young people contemplate suicide.

I was acutely aware that, should I commit myself, a great number of people, including my mother, would feel as though they had failed to provide enough or make enough effort.

My response to that was that if my life had been taken by someone else—say, in a “robbery”—that would constitute murder and no one would have felt betrayed.

To ensure there wasn’t a significant sum in her bank account, Jolie told the murderer she intended to “take out cash over a certain amount of time.”

He was a pleasant enough person and asked if I could think about it and call him again in two months, Jolie said in an unexpected answer to the hitman. My life underwent a transformation, therefore I decided to endure it.

When Jolie said to 60 Minutes in 2011, “I went through heavier, darker times and I survived them,” she made reference to a troubled history. I’m fortunate in that I didn’t pass away young. Other artists and individuals didn’t make it through certain situations.

At the time, she remarked, “I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst.”

I shouldn’t be here for a number of reasons. You recall the far too many instances in which you approached too many risky situations and took too many chances.

In an interview with Time, Jolie discussed her early years and said that having her six children had allowed her to mature as a person.

“I was not a very stable youth,” she admitted. To be honest, I never imagined that I could be a mother. I recall deciding to have children. Loving wasn’t difficult.

The actress, who won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar at the age of 25, for her performance in the 1999 movie Girl, Interrupted, has since become one of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces.

She stated, “I’ve had a very blessed life, but I’ve had my own challenges,” in an interview with The Times in November 2021. I experienced PTSD.

“You frequently experience feelings of brokenness, insecurity about your abilities, and worry that you won’t be able to provide adequate care and protection for the people you love.

Shortly after Pitt and his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston announced their divorce in 2005, the two started dating in the public eye.

Despite having several adopted and biological children together, the Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-stars stayed single for a long time until getting engaged in 2012 and being married in 2014.

Nonetheless, the Maleficent actress didn’t file for divorce until around two years later, in 2016. In 2019, she and Pitt were officially proclaimed single.

Now, Pitt is seeing 35-year-old Ines de Ramon.

This is in the wake of recent rumors that Pitt and Jolie’s eight-year-long divorce is still going strong because neither of the celebrities can “let it go.”

“Their disagreements took over” in the relationship, the source told People, adding that “it turned nasty and it was not a good situation for anyone.”

“Part of the reason the divorce has taken so long is all the bitterness.” They both won’t let it go. You would assume that they would have moved on and settled down.

“Both of them were having issues with each other,” stated an other insider. Over time, the discrepancies grew. Not only are the parents heartbroken, but the kids are as well. A divorce, particularly one that is as public as this one, may be difficult for the entire family.

“They both give a damn.” Both of them are concerned about the kids.

Shiloh Jolie, the couple’s eldest child, has taken out an advertisement in The LA Times in support of her court demand to have the actor’s last name removed.

According to the newspaper notice acquired by TMZ, Shiloh sought to change her name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. Shiloh hired and paid for her own lawyer when she petitioned to shed the Pitt name on her 18th birthday in May.

Before the court will allow a name change, the advertisement is a necessary step.

Additionally, the notice instructs anyone with objections to the petition to appear in court at a later date this month.

A person with knowledge of the situation told Dailymail.com last month: “Shiloh paid for and hired her own attorney, so Angie is unable to speak for her.”
