Wells Adams pays tribute to Sarah Hyland on their engagement anniversary
Wells Adams paid homage to his wife on the occasion of his engagement anniversary.
In honor of Sarah Hyland, 33, the Best in Dough host, 40, paid tribute to her on Sunday, July 7, the day of their five-year engagement anniversary.
“It’s been five years since I tricked this woman into thinking she would be with me forever,” he captioned the photo. The best choice I have ever made. @sarahhyland, you have my undying love 🥹😘 Happy anniversary of your engagement, sweetie.”
The post featured a picture of the pair cuddling on a Fijian beach while the diamond engagement ring of the Modern Family alum was on show.
The two celebrities announced their engagement in 2019. They married in an outdoor ceremony close to Santa Barbara, California, in August 2022.
In 2017, they declared their romance on Instagram, and Adams subsequently acknowledged that they had connected on social media.
During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark in May, the actress—who is presently playing the character of Audrey, a skid row resident in the popular off-Broadway version of Little Shop of Horrors—shared her husband’s surprising response to her new part, which was created by Ellen Greene.

Hyland remarked, “I don’t do the Ellen Greene accent.” “How do you do it, though? My spouse kept asking me over the phone.
Please do it for me. I therefore offered him a brief phone preview of the accent.”
Hyland described what she received in response as “the wildest reaction I could have imagined.”
“He goes, ‘This is going to be very sexual for me,'” Hyland remembered that in response, she said, “What?! What!” “He was like, ‘It’s like my wife is doing Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny and it’s very hot.’”

Several of Hyland’s Modern Family co-stars, including her on-screen mother Julie Bowen, who subsequently raved about her performance on Instagram, have paid her visits since she joined the cast.
“I always knew my baby girl was good, but even after 11 years together on Modern Family, I didn’t know she was THIS good,” wrote Bowen.
Adams also gave his wife’s Instagram performance high marks. With the message, “Appreciation post for my extremely talented wife,” he posted a production photo to his social media.
Audrey is perfectly portrayed by @sarahhyland in @littleshopnyc. Everything about it is amazing, including the acting, singing, dancing, comedy, and agony.”
