With his recent signing to executive produce John Wick: Under the High Table, a new sequel series, Keanu Reeves is far from done with the John Wick franchise.

The highly sought-after action star, who turns 6-0 next month, will reteam with director Chad Stahelski, his former stunt double from Matrix, for the film that takes place right after John Wick: Chapter 4 concludes.

An insider told Deadline, “He is said to be very hands-on with the project, which is being shopped in what is turning out to be a competitive situation.”
“Under The High Table aims to bring the Wick universe into the modern era by fusing the old and the new.”

Robert Levine, who co-created The Old Man, wrote the script for the next series and will also act as showrunner.

The blind High Table assassin Caine (Donnie Yen), who was last seen in the post-credits sequence trying to meet up with his violin-playing daughter, could be the subject of one conceivable plot line.

The camera turned to black as Osaka Continental concierge Shimazu Akira (Rina Sawayama) attempted to avenge the murder of her late father Shimazu Koji (Hiroyuki Sanada) by stabbing Caine.

Afraid of Wick’s destiny at the “ambiguous” conclusion of John Wick: With the knowledge that a fifth movie is also under development and that “The High Table will not interfere with it,” Chapter 4 can relax a little.

The first four John Wick movies, which ran from 2014 to 2023 and brought in a total of $1 billion at the worldwide box office, starred Keanu. Each movie was bigger and had higher reviews than the one before it.

In order to play the brand-new John Wick game, Reeves, who shaved off his long locks in March, surprised fans on July 27 at the Stern Pinball booth at San Diego Comic-Con.

The game’s soundtrack was written by Anthrax drummer-guitarist Charlie Benante, who dubbed the Canadian, originally from Beirut,’one of the coolest moments in pinball history.’

Next, on June 6, 2025 in the US and June 7, 2025 in the UK, Keanu will play the same role in Len Wiseman’s Ballerina.

As the resentful dancer Rooney, who was formerly portrayed by Unity Phelan in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Ana de Armas (together with 11-year-old Victoria Comte) featured in John Wick Presents: Ballerina.

The film, which takes place in between the third and fourth movies, will also have appearances by the late Lance Reddick, Ian McShane, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Norman Reedus, and Catalina Sandino Moreno.

Despite receiving a middling 63% critic approval rating (out of 79 reviews) on Rotten Tomatoes, Peacock’s seventies-set prequel series The Continental: From the World of John Wick had its greatest original launch of 2023.

The John Wick Experience, an interactive experience by Egan Productions (the same firm behind Saw, Blair Witch, and escape rooms with Hunger Games themes), will also be opening at Area15 in Las Vegas later this year.

The John Wick Experience is a 12,000-square-foot venue with a themed bar and retail store that reimagines The Continental as a sanctuary for the fictitious criminal underworld.

During the high-stakes adventure, fans will be taken on a tour of a party, given specific objectives to complete, trusted with secrets, drawn into the culture, and invited to private places with actors in an immersive theater experience.
