Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are the most recent celebrities to have their homes broken into by a gang during the day in Los Angeles
Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks are the most recent celebrities to have their homes broken into by a gang during the day in Los Angeles.
A few weeks ago, burglars broke through the glass of the A-lister’s cliffside mansion to gain entry to a guest house on the property, law enforcement officials told TMZ.
The shattered glass set off the security alarm while the stars were away from their hometown, but it didn’t stop the robbers from breaking into the $26 million Pacific Palisades house.

Nor Rita nor the officials have yet disclosed what exactly was taken or how much it might have cost.
Following Bhad Bhabie, Sarah Hyland, and Marlon Wayans, the couple is now at least the fourth celebrity to be hit in the last month. The case is presently being investigated by the police, and no arrests have been made thus far.
The 14,513-square-foot house was bought by the couple in January 2010.
According to Architectural Digest, the three-story, four-bedroom, five-bathroom cliffside residence is coated in limestone and features a wine cellar, a cliffside swimming pool and deck area, and a tree-lined vehicle court.
The actor’s agent has been contacted by MailOnline for comment.
The two are now the victims of yet another burglary in the affluent suburb, which seems to be the work of one of the several gangs that operate there.

Actress Sarah Hyland and popstar Bhad Bhabie have also been victims of the high increase in burglaries in and around Los Angeles in the last six weeks, which has police worried that the groups are growing more brazen.
Four weeks prior, purses and jewels worth of other valuables were stolen by criminals who broke through Bhad Bhabie’s rear door.
Shortly before ten o’clock on July 12, the alarm went off, prompting law enforcement to enter the rapper’s residence.
Authorities detected evidence of forced entry, but no one who broke into the property was located there. However, by the time police arrived, one individual wearing a black hoodie had left the area.
Danielle Peskowitz Bregoli, also known as Bhad Bhabie, is estimated to be worth a considerable sum of money because she just disclosed that she has made an astounding $57 million on OnlyFans.

When Sarah Hyland, 33, noticed “two masked men” leaving her property on her security cameras, she noticed that burglars had also broken into her home.
On July 27, in broad daylight, the Modern Family star’s Los Angeles home was broken into by a group of people who broke a glass window to get inside.
Sarah was out of town when the event occurred, but she saw her crime on her phone after getting an alert and seeing her security camera footage in real time.
According to TMZ, police were called to the scene and conducted a search to make sure no suspects were still hiding nearby.
Law enforcement hasn’t made any arrests in relation to the case as of yet, despite the fact that it is still being investigated.

What may have been taken from Hyland’s house is still unknown.
As soon as she gets back to Los Angeles, the former Love Island USA host will inventory her belongings, which the police can use to help find any stolen stuff.
On June 29, comedian and actor Marlon Wayans’ Los Angeles residence was similarly broken into. Shortly after, he sent a warning to would-be burglars.
‘Don’t waste your time,’ he wrote on Instagram.

The fact that I don’t own s*** means they didn’t actually get much. Nothing valuable is in my house but my house itself. I apologize; I lead a modest life.
According to earlier reports from TMZ, the heist occurred at approximately 2:30 am when his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans was asleep.
In the morning, a staff member found that a safe had been removed and the house had been broken into.
It has been almost a year since Tom and Rita’s son, 34-year-old Chet, discovered an intruder in his own house, and now there is news that their home has been broken into.

Chet was not hurt, despite reports at the time that the suspect had fought the arresting officers on the site.
Chet recently opened up about his childhood, admitting that even with his renowned parents, he felt “worthless.”
On “Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets,” Chet shared with his fellow celebs, “I’ll tell you something about my childhood.”
People assume that since I’m Tom Hanks’ kid, I’d grow up thinking I was the s***.
“I really felt like a worthless piece of f****** growing up.” When I didn’t think you were superior than me, people treated me like that.
All I wanted was to be treated like everyone else and to be friends with everyone.
However, what should I do? Enter the room and be so frightened and meek? Dealing with that was a mind f*** for me.
I did internalize all that hate. “If you do walk in the door and you’re like, ‘Here I am motherf*****,’ then it’s like, ‘Oh look at you arrogant son of a b****.” Perhaps I am f****** useless, is that what I’m saying?
