Adele is 34 years old! And to commemorate what, frankly, should be a national holiday, she posted a slew of new Instagram photos of herself frolicking around outside, looking absolutely stunning with no makeup.

Okay, so she’s wearing some sort of berry red lip stain, but Adele is otherwise makeup-free, and her signature cat eye is nowhere to be found.

“What a difference a year makes!” she wrote in the caption. “If time continues to heal and smooth out all the creases in my life as it does as the years pass, I can’t wait to be 60!” I’ve never felt better! So many lessons to learn, so many blessings to be thankful for.

I’m 34 years old, and I love it here! Thank you for your birthday wishes, as always.”

Adele is notoriously private and has been largely absent of late. Having said that, she has a lot of things coming up. She is working on her Las Vegas residency, which was postponed due to Covid delays, in addition to performing at BST Hyde Park (a music festival in London) this summer.

She told fans at the time, “We are now working our arses off, but I don’t want to announce a new set of dates until I know everything will definitely be ready. The sooner I can make an announcement, the better,

but I simply cannot in case we are not ready in time. This year is absolutely going to be the year.”

Adele also confirmed to Graham Norton in February that the residency will take place this year because, frankly, she will be too busy next year. “It must happen this year because I have plans for next year,” she explained. “Imagine if I had to cancel because I was expecting a child!”
