The legendary singer Cher,78, has hinted that she would appreciate the chance to perform in the Glastonbury 2025 legends slot. She is now in talks to do so
According to reports, Cher is in talks to take the legends slot at Glastonbury in 2025. This would be a wonderful surprise for her fans and commemorate her 60 years in the music industry.
The 78-year-old Believe hitmaker is rumored to be having “meaningful talks” with the organizers of the late-June festival in Somerset.

Since 2026 would be a fallow year for the event to allow the farm area to recuperate, Glastonbury’s organizer Emily Eavis will be eager to secure the biggest names for next year. According to The Sun, Cher is already organizing her possible Glastonbury attendance and hopes to play a few UK performances in the upcoming year.
“Cher is practically the legend of all pop music legends,” an insider told the publication. She would be amazing.
She is now having serious discussions with Glastonbury about filling the legend’s slot, though it has taken a while.
Cher hopes to play a few shows in the UK next year, and Glastonbury may be one of them. However, everything is still very much in the planning stages.
“She simply isn’t interested in the idea of a full-scale tour anymore.” MailOnline has reached out to a Cher representative for comment. When host Rylan Clark asked her whether she would perform there last year, she had alluded to the prospect and replied, “I’d like to.”

It happens just before Cher’s first greatest hits album in twenty years is about to be released. Warner Records revealed at the beginning of the month that the legendary musician had personally selected a unique compilation of 21 songs that she had “beautifully remastered” from her decades-long career.
Many of her greatest songs, such as Believe, If I Could Turn Back Time, Song For The Lonely, and The Way Of Love, will be included in the compilation album, Forever.
Furthermore, two live recordings of songs that will appear on Forever are DJ Play A Christmas Song, which is taken from her 2023 holiday album, and I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.
Two months before her next book Cher: The Memoir, Part One is out, Forever will be available on September 20.
Forever’s “special double vinyl package will be printed on silver foil board with crystal clear translucent vinyl,” according to the press release Just Jared was able to receive.

You may preorder it on CherForever.net and it will also be available on CD. Additionally, ‘accessible on all streaming channels on the same date includes 19 additional songs’ is the digital release of the Forever Fan Edition. In the past, Cher has put out two soundtrack albums, three live albums, eleven compilation albums, and 27 studio albums.
The Goddess of Pop revealed recently that she will be publishing a two-part memoir along with an advance peek at the cover.
Cher: The Memoir, Part One, the first installment, will be available on November 19, 2024. 2025 is when the second book is scheduled for release.
