The co-stars of Matt LeBlanc’s Friends are concerned about his “disheveled” appearance and “reclusive” behavior almost a year after Matthew Perry passed away
The approaching anniversary of the death of their beloved castmate Matthew Perry has Matt LeBlanc’s Friends coworkers anxious about him.
LeBlanc,57, has been grieving since Perry’s untimely death in October 2023 and has hardly been seen in public. His most recent appearance is said to have worried his pals.
He was seen out and about in Los Angeles earlier this month, and his unkempt appearance was ‘concerning’ his costars, a source informed In Touch Weekly, following their viewing of the images that TMZ had received.”No one is body shaming Matt or making inappropriate lifestyle accusations against him.” The insider stated that’s not what’s happening in this situation.
What worries Jen [Aniston] and the entire Central Perk team, the insider added, is that he’s become such a recluse that they hardly hear from him every month.”Since Matthew Perry’s untimely death, he has maintained communication,” the source stated.
Apart from that, the person said, “he’s just hunkered down and doing his own thing with no real interest in socializing.”
The source continues, “That’s just plain sad for everyone to see.”
The insider commented, “He used to be such an upbeat, happy guy but now it’s as though he doesn’t feel worthy to be in their company.” regarding LeBlanc’s apparent transformation.
‘Clearly his self-esteem’s taken a hit, and you only have to look at the guy to realize he’s let himself go physically too,’ the person continued. The source told LeBlanc that his buddies will always be there for him.

This is happening as Perry’s death anniversary draws near.
On October 28, 2023, the Emmy-nominated star passed away at the age of 54.
Upon discovering Perry unconscious at his Los Angeles residence, LeBlanc became the inaugural cast member of Friends to share a personal remembrance of his co-star.
