Julia Roberts expressed her happiness at getting the opportunity of a lifetime.
The audiobook From Here To The Great Unknown, a memoir by Lisa Marie Presley, will be narrated by the 56-year-old Pretty Woman actress.
Lisa Marie, the late star’s unheard interviews, is the daughter of actress Priscilla Presley and rock hero Elvis Presley. Riley Keough, star of Daisy Jones & The Six, was also raised by Lisa Marie.Oscar winner Roberts told People on Wednesday, “I am so moved.”
Riley will also narrate a portion of the audio book. Riley assisted in finishing the book following her mother’s unexpected death in 2023.
On October 8, From Here To The Great Unknown will be released.
Roberts said to People, “I was so moved by Lisa Marie’s incredible memoir.”
“I am incredibly grateful to Riley for sharing her mother’s story with me; it was an honor to give voice to her wild and beautiful life.”
Keough is ecstatic that Roberts played her mother as well. Riley exclaimed, “I’m so happy to have Julia be a part of this and read the voice of my mother.”

Following bariatric surgery a few years earlier, Lisa Marie developed a small-bowel obstruction that ultimately led to her death at the age of 54.
