Lara Spencer is back in the spotlight at Good Morning America, but recently, things have changed.

The ABC celebrity worried fans when she appeared on television wearing a boot on her right foot just after the new year. Many people are curious as to what happened to Lara to put her in the medical shoe in the first place, even if the injury hasn’t prevented her from reporting the most shocking news.

Due to her social media postings, viewers may now have a better understanding of her injury and healing process.

How did Lara Spencer fare?
Lara astonished her Instagram fans on January 3 when she posted several images of herself using a knee scooter and a walking boot. The television journalist continued by saying that she underwent surgery to treat a chronic foot ailment that had been affecting her health.

“This Christmas, I wasn’t praying for the boot! But on January 3, she tweeted, “I did acquire some shiny new wheels (swipe to view my sexy scooter!). “The wonderful Dr. O’Malley at HSS today corrected a ruptured plantar plate and ligament in my foot that’s been slowly getting worse and worse.”

“Didn’t want to miss my daughter’s final soccer season or the holidays, so here we are,” she continued. Rolling into 2023 in a manner resembling…….well, I’m not entirely sure but it should be fun at work!!!!!

According to information released by the Cleveland Clinic, ruptured plantar plates are sometimes misdiagnosed as transitory pain from bunions or other problems but frequently get worse over months and years of activity. They have long been linked to acute pain in the ball of the foot.

And a week later, she shared a photo from her first day of physical therapy to show how she had begun her road to recovery. She actually already has a sport in mind to participate in once she’s feeling better.

On January 10, she posted a picture with the comment, “Tennis I’m comin for ya.” “I appreciate it, @performanceoptimalhealth. Let’s begin this recovery right away!

However, Lara isn’t simply informing her admirers about her foot issue online. She discussed how working while dealing with health issues had been, as well as some unforeseen difficulties she had encountered.

She said, “The footwear is hefty.” I didn’t want to describe what almost occurred when I leaned forward to collect my scripts.
