Sydney Sweeney acknowledges that her hair is “fried” as a result of “regularly coloring it” for film parts
Sydney Sweeney has acknowledged that her trademark blonde hair is currently “fried.”
The 26-year-old star of Anyone But You, who recently showed off her toned legs in a skimpy wetsuit, told The Strategist that she has forbidden herself from using makeup since it causes harm to her hair from frequent use for different movie parts.

She is now taking a vacation from her tendrils to allow them to return to their original brunette hue.
“I’m attempting to grow out my hair.” I’m traveling a hair-healthy path,’ she said to the site.
“I made the decision to cut off all the dead hair, stop coloring it, and let it grow out because my hair has been very damaged and fried from constantly dying it for different characters and red carpets,” the actress stated. The Immaculate actress revealed that she now uses claw clips rather than hair ties to tidy up her hair.

‘My hairstylist was also encouraging me to quit using hair ties while I’m not working, so I stopped wearing hair clips,’ she continued.
Emi Jay’s has so many adorable designs, colors, and sizes, which is why I adore them. I think I have nearly all of them. I’m now wearing one. She said, “It’s just a fun accessory to add to your outfit.”

Sydney’s hairstylist revealed that the blonde decided to go lighter for the summer, expressing her desire to “change it up majorly” and break free from her darker roots.
According to celebrity stylist Rita Hazan, who has styled Beyoncé, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and Mariah Carey, “she feels most like herself when she’s blonde,” as reported by People.
The Madame Web actress insisted on keeping her middle-parting, side-swept bangs, so her hairstylist made sure they were incorporated into the new look.
“Money bits” alone don’t appeal to me,” Rita clarified. The hairline should be light in my opinion, but it should also mix in with the hair.

Sydney has dabbled in a variety of hair hues, including strawberry blonde for Pretty Little Liars, jet black for the 2024 Met Gala, and bleach blonde for Paris Fashion Week 2023. She also stunned viewers in a 2021 Webtoon ad while sporting a brilliant pink hairdo.
The actress said back in May that she will “fully commit myself” to a part if the character “really asks for” hair, which she uses as a storytelling tool. As she has demonstrated, even if it means significantly altering her hair.
Because it takes so long to grow, she said to Vanity Fair, “I’ve always been terrified to just cut my hair super, super short.” I usually go for it if the character asks for it sincerely. I’ll give it my all and follow through, but afterwards I’ll ask myself, “Why did I do that?”
Sydney also made the joke that “any emotional memories that my hair has held onto” had likely been “fried” over time by all the heat styling and color changes.

“I’ve always felt that my hair represents exactly how I’m feeling and who I am at that time,” the actress continued. It functions as an accessory to fit your chosen look and personality for the day.
When used properly, it may be a lot of fun, similar to Cassie in Euphoria.
“Her hair allows her to take on a multitude of looks.” I believe that people tend to forget that makeup isn’t everything. Regarding her part in the popular drama, she remarked, “Your hair can actually transform you too.”
