On September 15, at the Kering Foundation’s “Caring for Women” dinner in New York City, Salma appeared in a spectacular outfit consisting of their Gucci dress with a sultry neckline forming a bodysuit, which she accessorized with a fur bolero jacket and a matching handbag as an accessory.
A week earlier, 48-year-old Penelope Cruz appeared on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival in the same black evening dress. It was impossible not to notice that the hairstyles with a bun and make-up with a warm face contour, nude lips and an emphasis on the eyes of both actresses were almost identical.
On her Instagram page, Hayek captured the moment by blending a photo of herself with a photo of Penelope from the Venice Film Festival. “Penelope may not be my twin, but she is my sister in style,” the Eternals star playfully signed the publication.
In an interview with British GQ, Hayek said that there were unpleasant moments in her career when sеxuality interfered with her. The actress often starred in films where her characters were passionate, but not comedic. However, she wanted to get roles in funny films.
“I was a typical character for a long time. All my life I wanted to do comedy and people wouldn’t give me comedy. I couldn’t get the part until I met Adam Sandler who put me in comedy, but I was in my forties! They said “You’re sеxy, so you can’t have a sense of humor. Not only were you not allowed to be smart, but you weren’t allowed to be funny in the 90s,” Hayek said.
