Following a three-year fight with ALS, Bullock’s longtime lover and photographer Bryan Randall passed away in 2023.
Sandra Bullock is “doing okay” as she celebrates her birthday after going through a trying time.
The Academy Award-winning actress, who turns 60 on July 26, announced over a year ago that her boyfriend of three years, Bryan Randall, had passed away at the age of 57 following a three-year battle with ALS.
About a year and a half after Bullock made it known that she needed “to take a pause” from her profession to spend more time with her family, especially her two now-14-year-old children, news of Randall’s passing broke.
Now, she’s doing alright. Her children are incredible. A person close to Bullock’s pal Jennifer Aniston, 55, “She’s very happy to be a mom.”

“She received the assistance she need from her friends throughout and after his illness. The source continues, “She is appreciative of all the attention. “Everyone helped to lift her up after Bryan passed.”
Bullock’s most recent leading parts were from her productions of The Lost City and Bullet Train, both released in 2022, after Randall passed away. She acknowledged in a 2022 interview that she understood going into The Lost City’s filming that it would be her final motion picture for some time.
She said to CBS News, “I don’t know what ‘a while’ means.” “I would just love to clean out the basement.”
She hasn’t appeared on the big screen since, although Bullock has lately stated that she intends to make a comeback soon. Bullock and her co-star, Keanu Reeves, celebrated the 30th anniversary of their movie Speed in May. During their appearance on the 50 MPH podcast, the two hinted at a future joint venture.

The podcast host proposed that Bullock and Keanu push for a third Speed movie. “Before I die, before I leave this planet, I do think that Keanu and I need to do something in front of the camera,” Bullock stated.
“Are we using walkers or wheelchairs, you know? Perhaps. Perhaps.
Prior to their possible on-screen reunion, Bullock and Nicole Kidman will reunite in a follow-up to their 1998 romantic fantasy Practical Magic.
“Yes, I’ll be there. Sandy will also be included. That’s it, Kidman said. “There’s a lot more to tell which is why we go, ‘OK, this is kind of interesting now to be able to do this.'”
“[We] found a way in,” she continued.
