Something about Cameron Diaz’s return to the set makes us happy.
The Avaline businesswoman, who is returning to acting for the upcoming Netflix film Back in Action, was photographed on set with co-star Jamie Foxx.
The two looked sharp in the photo, with the Ray actor dressed in a sleek classic black tuxedo. The Charlie’s Angels actress wore a black blazer and matching pants.
The new photos follow Jamie’s August interview with E! News, in which he revealed how he persuaded Cameron to come out of retirement and return to the show.
“We just begged and pleased on my knees, like, ‘Just give the people one more time,'” he exclusively told E! News’ Daily Pop. “We love her, we’ve been waiting for her, and this is going to be fantastic.”
Fans will recall that Jamie and Cameron co-starred in the 2014 remake of Annie, which was The Holiday actress’ final film before retiring.
Jamie announced the film back in June by tweeting a phone call between himself, the actress, and Tom Brady.

During the call, the NFL quarterback intervened to offer her advice as someone who is “relatively successful at un-retiring.” “To be honest,” Cameron joked at the time. “You’re just what I needed.”
