Shanna Moakler, 49, the ex-girlfriend of Travis Barker, slays in a bikini
Shanna Moakler, the ex-wife of Travis Barker, posted another pinup picture to Instagram on Tuesday.
The 49-year-old former actress looked trim in a black bikini as she relaxed in her Los Angeles home’s swimming pool.
Her daughter Alabama, whom she shares with Travis, pushed the like button as she added in her caption, “Lean in, love hard, and live well” #spiritofahero. This comes after the Playboy model acknowledged using a weight-loss medication in June.
She mentioned at the time that she had started eating more after the passing of both her parents.
Gail, her mother, passed away in January 2023, and John, her father, died seven months later.
She was in “a very, very dark place” as a result.
“I gave up dieting.” I gave up working out. To People, the mother of three recalled, “I just ate like s**t.” I was inconsolable and missed my f**king parents. I thought, ‘I’m going to consume the agony with f**king.’
She said that after facing an increase in paparazzi when word leaked out that her ex-husband’s wife, Kourtney Kardashian, was in the hospital undergoing life-saving emergency surgery, her diet deteriorated.
Regarding the “Kardashian media circus,” she said, “I didn’t know how to deal [with it] because it was on another level.”” “I felt depressed.” And I was really missing my parents a lot.
Although she did not specify how many pounds she shed since beginning to take Mounjaro, Moakler, who has been showing off her slimmer frame on Instagram, said the weight loss has made her feel more like herself again.
The television personality asserted in the interview that she is “more than just the ex-wife of famous men.”
“I don’t think anyone really knows who I am,” she started out. I was the 19th Miss USA. I’m intelligent. I worked my f**king ass out to get every role I’ve ever had in a movie, television program, or audition.
‘I also don’t have to like the f**king Kardashians, and I’m honestly sick of talking about them,’ the former pageant queen went on. Now that I’m an adult woman who has experienced everything, I don’t give a f**k what people think of me. I’m happy with my identity.
Moakler also talked candidly about starting a weight-loss program in 2020 after gaining forty pounds.
Moakler claimed at the time that she “was working out like an animal with no results and I was super unhappy, miserable.”
Following her statement that plastic surgeon Leif Rogers gave her a “mommy makeover,” she started seeing a dietitian who helped her start “eating properly.”
She explained how she lost weight by saying, “I stopped eating for emotional pleasure and started eating to fuel my body.”
“I had an amazing team and I now just work out every day, I still eat healthy but allow myself some good stuff, and I’ve learned so much from the whole experience the last two years!” “There was no quick fix, no overnight plan,” the person said.
She dated Oscar De La Hoya, the father of her 25-year-old daughter Atiana, before getting married to Barker for four years, as shown in their reality show Meet the Barkers.
Barker is the father of her two youngest children, Alabama, 18, and Landon, 20. Following Barker’s breakup with Kardashian, Moakler has leveled a number of startling claims against the drummer for Blink-182’s purported infidelity.
She stated earlier this year in an episode of the Dumb Blonde podcast that throughout the latter part of her husband’s marriage, Barker texted Kim Kardashian, who is now her sister-in-law.
According to the communications, Travis, 48, was attempting to arrange a ‘f***’ tryst at one of Kim’s sisters’ homes.
Shanna, who has previously made remarks along these lines, added that she ‘caught’ Lindsay Lohan’s rocker when they were dating. Kim and Travis have both vehemently denied ever being in a romantic relationship.
The texts were sent to Shanna at a time when she and Travis were ‘trying’ to mend their relationship.
Without mentioning if it was the home of Kim’s other sister Khloé or Travis’ future wife Kourtney Kardashian (their half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner weren’t even adolescents at the time), she stated, “They were trying to meet up at her sister’s house to f***.”
Shanna withheld the identity of the third party and the circumstances surrounding their purported message delivery to her.
She went on to say that after she showed Travis the texts, he supposedly erased the original copies from his phone and informed her, “I don’t see anything,” after pretending to look for them together.
Shanna claimed that when she contacted Kim to confront her about the messages, Kim allegedly stated, “I don’t like white guys,” which caused Kim to deny them.
“You’ll f*** anyone to be famous,” I thought to myself. That was something Travis and I never fully got over. “I felt foolish,” Moakler remarked.
In his 2015 biography Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, And Drums, Drums, Drums, Barker had denied having a love relationship with Kardashian. Barker stated that he and his future sister-in-law had gone out to lunch and supper together.
He acknowledged that he was smitten with the reality TV star, but he insisted that their friendship never progressed to a personal relationship. Kim also denied any affair in 2021 after Shanna previously made similar claims.
“A false narrative about the alleged hookup,” she exclaimed. We’ve been friends for a long time, and I’m thrilled for Travis and Kourt.
Since 2022, the drummer has been wed to 44-year-old Kourtney Kardashian, Kim’s older sister.
He married Shanna in 2004, but the two later got divorced in 2008. They had remained together intermittently until their separation in 2006.
She revealed that she congratulated Barker and his wife on the birth of their daughter, Rocky, and said that she and Barker “get along” during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live last month.
Nevertheless, she acknowledged that in the past, co-parenting had felt like a “competition” over who was the superior parent.
