The other day at the Old Royal Naval College in London was a show of women’s clothing fashion house Alexander McQueen.
The event was prepared with unprecedented pomp – a giant transparent dome overlooking the city was built especially for the show on the banks of the Thames. It was almost an otherworldly spectacle, when the models first walked along the white corridor, and then seemed to emerge in front of the public.
However, the main event took place on the podium, when the famous British supermodel Naomi Campbell walked lightly on it. The 52-year-old red carpet queen shone in a designer black mesh and satin jumpsuit embellished with intricate sequin and crystal embroidery. The tight-fitting style of the outfit and cutouts on the hips emphasized the still magnificent forms of the dark-skinned beauty.
Naomi posted a video of her exit on her Instagram page and at the same time thanked the organizers of the event: “Thank you Sarah Burton, Judy, Sam and the whole team.”
