Netflix is set to release 50 Cent’s indictable docuseries about Diddy soon, with the rapper promising a ‘complex narrative spanning decades’
The eagerly anticipated Diddy docuseries by 50 Cent, which delves into allegations of sexual assault and violence against the celebrity, is currently in development at Netflix.
Diddy, whose true name is Sean Love Combs, was charged with sex trafficking and racketeering last week. He is presently being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center in New York City until trial.
The longstanding rival of Diddy, 50 Cent, has been teasing the documentary series for several months. Star and director Alexandria Stapleton told Variety that the show would be a “complex narrative spanning decades.””This is a story with significant human impact,” said a statement. Not simply the headlines or videos you’ve seen so far, but a complex story spanning decades is being told.

“We are unwavering in our resolve to offer genuine and complex viewpoints and to provide a voice to the voiceless.”Even while the accusations are unsettling, we implore everyone to keep in mind that hip-hop and its culture are much more than Sean Combs’ tale. Our goal is to make sure that the larger contributions of culture are not overshadowed by particular acts.
Stapleton is the executive producer for House of Nonfiction, and 50 Cent will produce under his G-Unit Film & Television business. Following the news, 50 also posted on X, saying, “I been telling y’all about all this weird s**t, I don’t do puffy parties.” You didn’t trust me before, but now you probably do! [italics]
50, real name Curtis Jackson, made fun of Diddy last week following the rapper’s indictment on accusations of racketeering and sex trafficking. One of the more startling allegations is that during raids earlier this year, federal officials found 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant in his houses in Miami and Los Angeles.

They were utilized in “freak offs”—”elaborate and produced sex performances” that Diddy is said to have organized and taken part in—with “baby oil” going viral swiftly and shocking followers with memes.
50 soon posted a photo of himself with Drew Barrymore online, taking aim at the celebrity.
Before tagging his businesses, @bransoncognac and @lecheminduroi, the scathing caption said, “Here I am keeping good company with @thedrewbarrymoreshow and I don’t have 1,000 bottles of lube at the house.”
Comments like “Who else ran to his page?,” “We were all waiting on you,” and “Why did we all wait for 50 to post” rapidly flooded the post from fans.
Others commented, saying things like, “I arrived here as fast as I could,” “I know I’m not the only one who has been waiting on 50 to post,” and “I have been waiting for this post all morning.”
Diddy and 50 have a tense relationship that dates back at least eighteen years. In 2006, 50 Cent released a song called The Bomb in which he insulted his longstanding rap competitor, suggesting that Diddy knew who killed Notorious B.I.G. in 1997.
Following what was called ‘a major bidding war’ in May, the series was sold to Netflix. This occurred a few days after CNN published a video in which Diddy was seen hitting his ex-girlfriend Cassie in 2016.
After CNN published video of the attack, Diddy acknowledged that he had beaten his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel corridor in 2016. He expressed his regret in a video apology and called his behavior “inexcusable.””I accept complete accountability for the things I did in that video.” When I did it back then, I was disgusted. The music mogul expressed his disdain in a video message.
Following Diddy’s apologetic video, 50 Cent said he didn’t think Diddy could pull through this seemingly irreversible problem.

“Now that I’m positive puffy didn’t do it—he is innocent, this proves nothing,” he wrote. “God help us all, this is what his lawyers are going to say,” he continued.
“Who is giving him advice right now? This is not going to work.” On social media, the Grammy-winning rap singer stated. “SMH, poor decision.”
After the video went viral on Friday, 50 Cent, whose songs include Candy Shop, P.I.M.P., and If I Can’t, responded by saying, “Now I’m sure puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing!” This is what his attorneys will say. God be with us everyone.
The first wave of Hollywood celebrities to respond to Diddy’s house raids in March was led by 50 Cent. After seeing the investigation’s video, he quickly reposted it and wrote, “S*** just got real.” The Feds are in every crib, d***, and they have the children in handcuffs.
After that, he focused on his ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy, who was accused of being a “sex worker” in a case producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr. brought against Diddy.Joy has fiercely refuted the charge, referring to it as “character assassination.”

People recently reported that Combs has ‘been able to speak briefly to family members and his children by phone’.
News broke that Diddy’s attorneys are not requesting that he be transferred from the ‘Hell on Earth’ Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset, Brooklyn, coincided with his phone call home. According to the insider, “he is very concerned about his kids and their well-being.”
He is incarcerated, and two of his three minor children currently have no surviving parent available to them. With him in prison, neither parent is available for four of his seven children.
The Combs children are ‘in a state of crisis and shock’ in the wake of Diddy’s arrest, according to another insider.
‘Seeing the kids in their current state is terrible. Their father is this. But he’s just Dad to them, not Diddy. He has consistently been a dedicated, caring father.
The late model and actress Kim Porter, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 47, is the parent of Christian, Jessie, and D’Lila.
Porter’s son with partner Al B was named Quincy. Yes, and Combs later adopted him. He is friends with entrepreneur Sarah Chapman on Chance, and stylist Misa Hylton on Justin.
His youngest child, a daughter named Love, was born in December 2022 to model Dana Tran. To support their father, Justin, Christian, and Quincy showed up together before a New York City courthouse on Tuesday.

There was no sign of Combs’s three daughters or 23-month-old infant girl. Diddy is not receiving any particular treatment at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, a second source told People.
“He is receiving the same treatment as any other prisoner awaiting trial.” He was put on suicide watch as a precaution upon admission to the facility, as was the case with all public persons in his position.
Diddy was detained and accused of sex trafficking, racketeering, and providing transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution last week.
He is charged with abusing, threatening, and coercing women for years ‘to gratify his sexual urges, safeguard his reputation, and conceal his actions.’ The charges include specifics of complaints made as early as 2008.
He entered a not guilty plea to the allegations. He used his mother’s and his own $50 million Miami properties as collateral after his arrest, but a court denied him bail.
He lost his petition to reverse the ruling on Wednesday, so he will stay in detention until his trial.
