Love Island star REVEALS why she left the show
According to MailOnline, Love Island actress Uma Jammeh has shockingly left the program.
The 23-year-old beauty decided to vacate the ITV2 villa following the shocking split from her partner Wil Anderson.
Wil was fired from the show after Reuben Collins, the shocking newcomer, picked her after a recoupling.
But she went against her instincts and told her superiors that leaving with her partner would mean forfeiting her spot in the tournament.
After Wil’s activities during Casa Amor, where he chased Lucy Graybill, hurt Uma and he refused to apologize when incriminating scenes were played during the show’s Movie Night, viewers will be shocked by the scenes.
According to a source, Uma showed her loyalty to Wil throughout Casa Amor, which communicated her affections for him.
But now that he was abandoned and she was taken by one of the new bombshells, she has made a major decision to leave Love Island.
She wanted to stay loyal to herself, even if it was an emotional event shared by all of her fellow Islanders.
“At this point in the competition, she was certain that she wouldn’t fall in love with anyone else and that she couldn’t let Wil go on his own.”
The couple’s departure from Love Island after Wil’s (23), public backlash about how he treated Uma.
Bosses showed clips from Casa Amor during the show’s Movie Night, in which he sought out new relationships and maintained that his type was a “petite blonde,” leaving her in tears.
He reacted angrily, saying he did what he felt like doing and declined to apologize to Uma for her expressed hurt feelings.
After Uma is picked to date newcomers Reuben Collins and Joshua Oyinsan, Wil is ultimately fired from the show, and Uma remarks, “revenge is sweet.”
Before she started feeling something for Wil, the model dated Ayo Odukoya during her stay on Love Island.
Despite his relationship with Mimii, whom he later pursued, Uma and Ayo ended up dating.
Uma took her time getting to know Wil; she waited a week to kiss the quantity surveyor. However, after Casa Amor, when she was parted from Wil, Uma’s feelings were evident.
But Wil kissed Lucy fiercely, casting doubt on his relationship with Uma.
‘I’m really humiliated, I genuinely believed he was a different person,’ Uma stated after seeing his behavior on the big screen.
It truly upsets me to hear that you would sit there and say, “Oh yeah, that’s my perfect type.”
After dating the newcomers, Uma flips the roles and declares, “Revenge is sweet—that’s exactly what I needed to remind me who I am.”
