Lindsay Lohan heads to the beach with Jamie Lee Curtis to film a scene for the upcoming Freaky Friday sequel
Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan were seen filming a scene for Freakier Friday on the beach. The 38-year-old actress was seen on Thursday running across the sand while wearing a green wetsuit with a floral pattern, and she was later seen sitting next to her 65-year-old on-screen mother Curtis.
Lohan, a symbol of the decade’s culture, wore a pair of rose-colored sunglasses with a classic cat-eye frame and gold hardware, and she styled her strawberry blonde hair in a sloppy bun.
Curtis was sitting in the sand, wearing a double denim ensemble, and she exuded cool, collected style.

This occurs not too long after Lohan and Curtis met to talk about getting back together with their co-stars and playing their respective parts as Tess and Anna in the sequel, which is set to release more than 20 years from now.
She looked like Lindsay Lohan with her natural makeup, donning a classic pair of dark aviator sunglasses for their outdoor scene.
Later, during a break from filming the scene for the eagerly anticipated follow-up to the 2003 cult classic, Lohan was spotted standing in the middle of the set with her toes in the sand. On June 24 of this summer, in Los Angeles, the sequel’s production got underway.
2003 saw the publication of the first Freaky Friday adaption, which was based on Mary Rodgers’ 1972 novel of the same name from Disney. This was more than 20 years earlier.

“Tess and Anna discover that lightning may indeed strike twice as they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge,” is the synopsis for the sequel movie.
Along with the main actors, Mark Harmon and Chad Michael Murray will be making a comeback as Ryan Volvo and Jake, respectively. In the follow-up, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Rosalind Chao are also expected to return.
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Manny Jacinto, Sophia Hammons, and Julia Butters are the newest members of the cast. The previous movie’s producer, Andrew Gunn, will collaborate with Curtis and Kristin Burr on the sequel. Executive producers Ann Marie Sanderlin, Nathan Kelly, and Lohan will work together.
Regarding Freakier Friday’s release date, it is anticipated that the film would open in theaters in 2025. During a sit-down interview with IMDb to discuss the sequel, Lohan and Curtis hinted that other characters in the film will also be exchanging bodies.

Lohan remarked, “It feels like a rhythm that never stopped,” in reference to the production. She even de clared that the band from Tess’s Pink Slip movie from 2003 would make a comeback.
“Pink Slip is making a huge comeback and doing it with lots of love in their hearts. It’s also a ton of fun. And it seems as though the band has always been together.
Lohan hinted that a “new song in this that is really beautiful” would be featured. Lohan hinted that the sequel’s plot has “the right amount of funny, the right amount of freaky,” even though they were unable to reveal anything about it.

“The movie is just freakier in every way,” Curtis continued. There’s more physical comedy and it’s funnier. Switches are more bizarre.
She also mentioned how “freakier” returning actors Mark Harmon and Chad Michael Murray are, and that there will be “more swapping” in the follow-up.
‘I can’t tell you what it is, but I have a secret way of remembering myself [which character I’m playing], but I can’t tell you until you watch the movie, or until we’re advertising the movie, and then you’ll know a lot more about the movie,’ hinted Curtis.
