Julie Chrisley will be resentenced for bank fraud and tax evasion.

Julie Chrisley, who rose to prominence with her husband, Todd Chrisley, and their family on the reality show “Chrisley Knows Best,” will be resentenced for fraud and tax evasion charges, according to a recent court order.

Julie and Todd were convicted in November 2022 on charges that included fraud and tax evasion. Todd was sentenced to 12 years in jail and 16 months of probation,

while Julie was sentenced to seven years in prison and 16 months of probation. The pair was also had to pay $17.8 million in restitution.

The couple has filed an appeal to have their case reviewed.

A verdict released by a panel of justices from the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday, June 21, and obtained by ABC News, disclosed five reasons offered by the defendants in their appeal.

“Julie asserts that the district court erred in sentencing her by holding her accountable for the loss amount of the entire bank-fraud scheme,” according to one of the claims. The judges stated that, after careful review and oral debate

, the district court “did not identify the evidence it relied on to hold Julie accountable for losses incurred before 2007, and we cannot independently find it in the record.”
