In a new photo, January Jones trades in her well-known blonde hair for a messy bun that is toned down
The ‘Mad Men’ actress has altered her look several times in the last 12 months.
January Jones is showcasing her most recent appearance! The 46-year-old Mad Men alumna showcased her deeper honey-toned hair in a recent Instagram Stories post on Wednesday, September 18.
Jones, who is well-known for her characteristic blonde bob, grinned for the camera in the picture while sporting her long bangs separated down the middle of a messy bun on top of her head.
The actress wore an oval-shaped pair of sunglasses over her eyes and a bright red cardigan in the photo, which featured her seated on a patterned chair.
Jones accessorized the ’80s-inspired ensemble with thick, red-striped cream socks and dark gray hotpants.
On Friday, September 13, Jones celebrated her son Xander Dane’s 13th birthday by teasing her new hairstyle. The celebrity hardly ever posts about her son on social media and has never revealed Xander’s father’s identity in public.
Jones wrote, “Bday boy is a teen 😩,” alongside a photo of her son and herself smiling in front of a sunset on Friday to commemorate his milestone birthday.
Jones shared a snapshot of herself in a light yellow sweater with a diamond tennis necklace stacked with a silver pendant chain, along with a set of silver hoops earrings, in January, revealing she had changed her go-to hairstyle to a shorter platinum cut.
In honor of her 46th birthday, the actress tweeted the photo and expressed her gratitude to famed hairstylist Bridget Brager, who has frequently collaborated with her to change her appearance.
“A new haircut to make me feel cute is exactly what I need for my birthday—@bridgetbragerhairalways knows,” Jones commented.
Jones has changed up her hairstyle quite a bit lately. In May 2023, she went from a shoulder-length bob to a ragged pixie cut, and in July of the same year, she debuted her platinum frosty blonde hair.
The actress, who still looked amazing in blonde hair, posted numerous pictures of herself on Instagram in July of this year, showing off her red-and-white bikini and hanging egg chair in a garden.
Jones appeared in two photos on July 14: one showing her grinning at the camera while donning the striped two-piece, a red cap, and a gold pendant, and another showing her beaming and gazing up at the sky.
In a third photo, she was seen stepping from the chair and onto the grass while still smiling.
