Guadalupe, the mother of Jennifer Lopez, comes for her daughter’s 55th birthday wearing a ball gown
Guadalupe Rodriguez, the mother of Jennifer Lopez, arrived at her daughter’s 55th birthday celebration in the Hamptons on Saturday in style.
Rodriguez came at the Bridgerton-themed festivities with a plethora of other guests dressed in Victorian attire, and she looked stunning in a light blue gown with a lace top.
Her hair was worn in loose curls, and she looked gorgeous with a variety of jewelry enhancing the shine.
According to People, 51-year-old Ben Affleck, Jennifer’s spouse, did not show up for the celebration. Recently, the pair has been the subject of divorce rumors.
Lopez recently celebrated her second wedding anniversary apart from her spouse because he was on vacation in California and she was on the East Coast.
She is officially turning 54 on Wednesday, but it looked like she was getting ready to celebrate a little early this weekend.
Her party location was seen to have a horse and buggy hired for the event, and on Saturday a big van full of flowers was seen pulling up.
Given that a truck from the posh furniture company Serena & Lily was also there, it’s possible that Lopez hired some expensive furniture for the celebration.
As the on-site arrangements came together, staff members in black were seen congregating next to the valet stand.
As recently as this Friday, Ben was photographed in California with his kids. Ben hasn’t been seen with Jennifer since June 5.
Violet, his 18-year-old eldest daughter, who he shares with Jennifer Garner, was seen last weekend in the Hamptons with Lopez.
Affleck and Lopez’s respective children have been working behind the scenes to help them mend their marriage, an exclusive source informed.
The children don’t want Jennifer and Ben to get divorced since they believe they are soul mates and are genuinely in love. According to their vows, they intend to work things out for better or worse, the insider said.
And they do believe that, despite the suffering, the two should keep going to counseling and working things out. The source went on, “They believe that if they act and speak appropriately, there may be more peace.”
It was rumored that the kids wanted Affleck and Lopez to “get back together” before the pop star’s July 24 55th birthday celebration.
As the planning for her celebrations got underway on Saturday morning, Lopez shared a happy selfie to Instagram with the caption, “Today is going to be a great day.”
The celebration takes place as insiders reveal Lopez is devoting her time to trying to save her marriage.
According to sources, their brief separation has only strengthened their love for one another and strengthened their will to be together.
The couple, who listed their $60 million family home recently, was last seen together on June 2. Since then, they have been separated for a number of significant events, such as Mother’s Day and their second wedding anniversary, amid persistent rumors that their revived romance is headed toward divorce.
However, in an attempt to restart their romance, 54-year-old Lopez has put her professional obligations on wait and focused heavily on their mixed family.
“Jennifer is optimistic at this point about keeping her marriage to Ben intact,” an insider exclusively told DailyMail.com.
“If she wasn’t working things out with him or, at the very least, on the right path, she wouldn’t be spending time with his kids and acting like a mom to them.”
The source went on to say that Ben and Jennifer haven’t spent any time together this summer because they needed time to assess how much they still cherished their relationship.
According to the insider, “They have given each other space to think things over, and this has reinforced that they do love each other.”
Jennifer has paused her work in order to concentrate on undoing the harm that has been done. She is aware that she occasionally let her reputation and profession to interfere with her marriage.
They went on, saying that she is genuinely attempting to live a regular life as a nice mother for the time being because she is aware that fame and wealth won’t matter in the end. She’s hoping there’s still time.
But the source went on to say that Affleck had also erred, saying, ‘Those around her have informed her that she is not exclusively to fault as Ben is hardly a stroll in the park either.’
Lopez had even been confiding in Jennifer Garner, her husband’s ex-wife, according to a previous report from DailyMail.com. However, Garner eventually had to give up her informal mediation role between the couple because she didn’t want to be a part of the “circus” around them.
Nonetheless, she and Garner are still in “continuous communication,” which has “helped things tremendously.”

Three children are shared by Affleck and Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
In the meantime, Lopez and her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, have 16-year-old twins named Max and Emme.
After Affleck moved into a $100K-per-month rental near his ex-wife, leaving their California estate, it appeared as though their blended family would be destroyed.
A few weeks later, the house was covertly put up for sale for $65 million, and the couple started selling artwork from the estate.
The source did disclose that the couple’s decision to relist their marital residence was motivated by a straightforward concern for their family’s safety, as they found it difficult to refer to the Bel Air estate as “home.”
The informant revealed that “Jennifer and Ben decided to sell their house because neither of them, nor their kids, felt like this place was home.”
Even though they have round-the-clock protection, “it was too big, and the openness made them feel unsafe at times.” Something didn’t feel quite right.
According to the insider, Affleck in particular never felt fully at ease at the mansion, which is probably why he moved his belongings out of it so quickly last month.
“Ben hated the house more than Jennifer did, so when their marriage fell apart, he was just over it,” they continued.

However, the couple was seen in different parts of the nation as they appeared to be unable to get together on July 16 to celebrate their second anniversary.
As Lopez was in the Hamptons with his 18-year-old daughter Violet, Affleck was seen grinning while dressed and arriving at his Los Angeles office with a duffel bag and a huge iced coffee.
Lopez is scheduled to star in two upcoming films for Affleck and Matt Damon’s producing business, Artists Equity: Unstoppable and Kiss of the Spider Woman. Despite what happens next, the two still intend to collaborate.
