Former X Factor star Dylan Holloway shares his ‘inspiring’ story
Dylan Holloway, an X Factor contestant, came out as transgender and shared his motivational tale on social media.
Dylan is now sharing details about his journey, twelve years after wowing the judges with his singing.
Along with Simeon Dixon, the musician’s group MK1, they tried out for the competition in 2012. The musician now has 25k Instagram followers.
After their stint, Dylan and Simeon continued to make music for two more years, finishing in eleventh place.
After calling it quits, the vocal duet pursued their own musical careers.
Additionally, Dylan shared his heartwarming tale with his admirers on Instagram. Dylan is currently a musician under the moniker Dylan And The Moon.
The musician discussed his shift and his music in a pinned video on his Instagram page.
“I’m a musician and a transgender man,” he declared. I used to release songs under the previous name, Lots Holloway, and I compose indie pop.Since making the change, I’ve been harmonizing and dueting with my former self using old voice records and recordings of myself because I want people to know that it’s okay to accept who you were since it helped you become who you are now.
Supporters flocked to his remarks, complimenting him on his self-assurance in discussing his transition.
“Love seeing what you do, Dylan, you’re so creative and you’ve shared a great message. Absolutely brilliant. Enjoy your journey,” were some of the comments left.

He uploaded two pictures of himself holding a banana side by side and sulking at the camera while wearing no shirt on Instagram.
In one picture, the independent singer compared himself to three years ago while flaunting his collection of tattoos and a silver chain.
“Happy third birthday to me (ish),” he said as the post’s caption. I realized that I neglected to publish on June 1st, but now, three years later, I’m a very happy man. Click to hear my little voice on T Joy, Love, and Kindness for Everyone.

The musician also showed his followers a time-lapse video on Instagram that demonstrated the effects of the hormone treatment, and in another video, he expressed his admiration for the way his voice had changed over the previous three years.
Dylan came out as bisexual in an interview with The Sun during his tenure on X Factor.
“If I go out and guys come up to me and they look really confused when I say I have a girlfriend,” he told the tabloid.
“Every girl thinks I’m gay, and every guy thinks I’m straight, which is weird.” I get the best of both worlds, though, because I really like both boys and girls.
It was hilarious when I switched from having a boyfriend to a girlfriend. I used to hang out and be friends with this girl in my town, but one day I started to feel a little different and realized, “I like both.”
