In a recent video, Sabrina Carpenter cuddled up to Christina Aguilera, the pop star’s old adversary, which caused viewers to bring up Britney Spears.
Fans were thrilled to see the pair participate in a lighthearted video that the Dirrty singer shared on her social media platforms.
The glamorous pop singers shared a pink couch with audio of Kylie Jenner raving about her mother Kris Jenner, looking like the best of friends.However, some admirers couldn’t resist bringing up Spears in the TikTok video Christina posted’s comments section.
One said, “Britney left the group.”
Someone else wrote, “Shoulda been Britney.”

A recent video with Britney questioning Sabrina’s on-stage smooch with an alien during the VMAs was mentioned by one.

During last week’s MTV VMAs, Carpenter, Tate McRae, and Megan Thee Stallion all made references to the Princess of Pop.
During her performance during the ceremony, the Espresso singer famously played a line from Spears’ song, Oops!In addition to kissing an alien on stage, “I Did It Again” seemed to be a reference to Britney and Madonna’s 2003 kiss.
Britney said on Instagram that she didn’t watch the show but that she did view YouTube clips, which featured Sabrina’s performance.

She rocked with astronaut-dressed dancers as well, joined by an extraterrestrial. It appeared to be yet another allusion to Spears and her Opps song video!…I Did It Again, which included an astronaut as well.
As for Sabrina and Christina, they recently worked together on a project honoring the 25th anniversary of the legendary singer’s 1999 debut album, Christina Aguilera.
Machine Gun and Sabrina Kelly sang alongside Christina for a Spotify Anniversaries episode that pays tribute to the original album in the near future.
