Eva Longoria, 49, shows off her youthful body in a red bikini

On Sunday afternoon, Eva Longoria spent time with her family at a charming Spanish beach, putting her professional obligations on hold.

During an appearance in seaside Marbella, the former Desperate Housewife donned a red bikini and was accompanied by her husband José Bastón and their baby son Santiago Enrique.

With the Mediterranean experiencing scorching summer temperatures, 49-year-old Eva completed her beach-ready ensemble with a wide-brimmed hat.

As Santiago, age five, built sandcastles at her feet, the actress seemed to be in a good mood while massaging José’s back.

The family bought a six-bedroom, seven-bathroom huge house on the Spanish coast and moved to Marbella from Los Angeles in 2023.

After cutting the price of their eight-bedroom Beverly Hills pad from $22.8 to $18.9 million, Eva and her 56-year-old Mexican businessman José have already begun shipping their possessions to their freshly remodeled Marbella property.

In April, an exclusive insider told DailyMail.com, “Eva and José are leaving Los Angeles for good and have put their home up for sale again.”

“They pulled it off the market in June, but they are just ready to get out,” the seller said when they relisted it in February for $4 million less.

Even then, this is still $5.4 million more than they paid for the 11,000 square foot house back in 2017.

They won’t be changing their minds about this; they have already shipped their goods there.

“They want to raise their son away from the Hollywood cycle and in an environment full of beauty and the natural world.”

“They are both very excited about moving to their home in Spain full time,” the insider continued. In Hollywood, she’s gotten all she could have ever wanted.

The star of Desperate Housewives, who wed José in 2016, bought a six-bedroom, seven-bathroom mega house in Marbella early in 2023. Nicolás Escanez, an architect and interior designer, was hired by the couple to assist with renovations.

The 1,531-square-meter estate also includes a cutting-edge home gym, a sauna, and an indoor pool.

Eva, a Texan native, revealed their opulent home to HELLO! magazine in January. She said, “It was love at first sight the first time I came to Marbella, two decades ago.” “I’ll live here someday,” I told myself.

“Afterwards, we established the Global Gift Foundation, and this is where I hosted the inaugural gala with Antonio Banderas and my closest friend María Bravo.”

She went on to talk about how she found the house, saying, “I told Nico, who knows a lot about real estate, five years ago, to let me know when you see the right place.”

I looked at a few locations, but none really fit my needs. In the beginning of 2023, this house was finally listed for sale.

It had the perfect size and location, but it needed renovations.

‘So, I came down and bought it that same day, taking advantage of the fact that I was in Barcelona filming.’

She has been transparent about her concerns over Los Angeles, telling the outlet that it is “not really so glamorous” and “always super busy,” adding, “I’m either on set, in a meeting, or stuck in traffic… there’s so much traffic.”

“Aside from being close to the sea and having fantastic weather all year round, LA and Marbella couldn’t be more different.”

‘I don’t have a schedule here,’ she said. My days are jam-packed with events: paddle tennis, the beach, lunch, drinks, and hanging out with friends. They are actually packed to the gills with stuff I truly love.

Eva was granted the honorary title “Dame” in 2022 because of her Spanish citizenship and family ties to the city of Oviedo, where her ancestors originally came from.

By moving to Paris Saint-Germain, Eva will be nearer to her best friend, Victoria Beckham, who lived in southern California while her husband David was a player for the Los Angeles Galaxy before moving back to Europe.
