Day Before Arrest for Sexual Crimes, Sean “Diddy” Combs Was Observed Playing Hacky Sack in Central Park

On Sunday, September 15, the rapper was spotted in a park in New York City with some companions.

The day before he was arrested for sex trafficking, Sean “Diddy” Combs was sighted in Central Park.

The 54-year-old rapper was spotted on Sunday, September 15, at around 6 p.m., playing frisbee and hacky sack in a park in New York City with pals. Combs moved to New York City two weeks before turning himself in to the U.S. district attorneys, according to his attorney Marc Agnifilo.

According to the New York Post, a witness claims that Combs said to his buddies, “I wish I could throw a frisbee,” while sporting a tank top and sunglasses.

A federal indictment states that the musician’s amicable exchange occurred just one day prior to his apprehension on Monday, September 16, at the Park Hyatt in Manhattan on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and providing transportation for prostitution. It was 8:25 p.m. when the music mogul was arrested.

The following day, Combs’ indictment—which detailed the unsettling specifics of the accusations made against him—was made public. It detailed how, according to court documents, he coerced victims into taking part in “freak offs,” or “elaborate and produced sex performances.”

The rapper is accused of using oxycodone, cocaine, and ketamine in addition to his influence to scare and force women into joining the “freak offs.” Furthermore, it’s said that the “freak offs” were occasionally caught on video without the victims’ knowledge.

When Combs’ houses in Miami and Los Angeles were raided in March, among the “freak off supplies” found inside were over a thousand bottles of baby oil.

During the music mogul’s arraignment hearing on that same day, Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, stated that Combs is receiving “treatment and therapy for things that most respectfully he needs treatment and therapy for and he’s getting that.” Citing confidentially, the lawyer withheld information about Diddy’s condition from the public.

On his court appearance, Combs entered a not guilty plea. A $50 million bail package, which included a $50,000 bond for him, was suggested by his counsel. However, the founder of Bad Boy Records was not granted bail and was placed in arrest pending his trial.

Prosecutors also claimed that Combs had cocaine in his hotel room when he was taken into custody on Monday.

Members of Combs’ family who attended the arraignment on Tuesday declined to comment to PEOPLE and departed the courtroom without saying anything after the ruling.
