During her stunning performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York State on Wednesday, Camila Cabello returned to wearing black hair.

She is a naturally brunette who, prior to her meteoric rise to stardom as a member of Fifth Harmony, had black hair.

She had dabbled with going platinum blonde, but she just stated on the red carpet that she has gone back to her natural dark-haired appearance. The 27-year-old singer, who was nominated for two VMAs that evening, looked stunning in a seductively translucent lace gown that accentuated her body.

Her luxurious black hair was still visible, cascading over her shoulders, even though a matching black lace veil covered her head.

Camila hinted discreetly at her cleavage thanks to the beautifully crafted dress’s uneven, serrated neckline.

She added a dash of sparkle with choker and two cross necklaces, giving the cameras a smoldering look from behind her fringe.

The Senorita singer was selected to perform in addition to being nominated for two VMAs that night: best pop artist and best trending video for I LUV IT with Playboi Carti.

Megan Thee Stallion, a savage rapper, is hosting this year’s event, which takes place on September 11 at Long Island’s UBS Arena.
