Britney Spears responds to Ozzy’s criticism of her viral dance videos, calling out the “boring” Osbourne family
Britney Spears is not fond of the Osbourne family.
Spears, 42, responded to the famous family’s criticism of her own social media postings in an Instagram post on Wednesday, July 17, supporting actress Kate Beckinsale’s online persona.
Spears went on to refer to the Osbournes as the “most boring family known to mankind” and expressed her desire for them to “kindly f–k off.”
The “Toxic” singer’s scathing comments come after 75-year-old rock legend Ozzy Osbourne criticized Spears’ frequent Instagram sharing of dance videos.
“I’m tired of watching Britney Spears on YouTube, poor elderly lady. On Tuesday, July 16, Ozzy stated on “The Osbournes Podcast,” “Every f–king day.”
He went on, “It’s sad, very, very sad.”
As the Osbournes answered a fan’s query on whether Kelly Osbourne would ever participate in popular TikTok dance challenges, the subject of Spears came up.
“I’m not skilled at TikTok dances. Kelly, 39, remarked, “I don’t know where anybody would ever think that I would.”
The other members of the family agreed with Ozzy’s assessment of Spears; Sharon Osbourne, 71, described her as a “poor little thing.”
Spears, for her part, doesn’t seem to be phased by the Osbournes’ critique. On Wednesday, the singer posted a new dance video to her Instagram account.
Spears is shown dancing to the music in the video, wearing a pink bikini bottom and a white bikini top.
Spears backed Kate Beckinsale, the actress from Underworld, earlier on Wednesday. Beckinsale has been under fire for her recent social media remarks.
“I love Kate Beckinsale, even more so now that I know she’s from London 🌬🌧! Spears sent a lengthy message on Instagram, writing, “I realized how incredibly cruel people were talking about her IG saying she needs more age appropriate content.”
“I thought it was pretty badass how she responded with a mini bow in her hair looking literally 4 years old,” said the woman, who is in her 50s.
Spears added that she can identify with 50-year-old Beckinsale since she too faces criticism for her posts on social media.
“It’s a silly and stupid subject at first because I know what it’s like to be judged,” she went on. “However, I believe it’s crucial to support one another and extend invitations to locations that foster spiritual development!”
