Ben Affleck’s Brutal Punch on Jennifer Lopez on Her Birthday Revealed
Jennifer Lopez turned 55 on the same day that Ben Affleck, her husband, closed escrow on his brand-new $20.5 million “bachelor pad.”
On Wednesday, July 24, the singer celebrated her birthday without the 51-year-old star of The Last Duel as he bought his new house in the Pacific Palisades.
Interestingly, the Hustlers star sold her four-bedroom New York City apartment for $23 million at that same time, according to People.
Days after they put their shared Beverly Hills property up for public auction, he bought it for an astounding $68 million.
Amidst persistent reports of a breakup, the couple has not been seen together in months and has spent the majority of the summer apart on different coasts.
It follows rumors that Lopez had suffered a “stab to the heart” as a result of Affleck’s abrupt acquisition of the house.
Affleck’s multimillion dollar mansion features a separate family room, walk-in closets, a video room, a powder room, a guest house, and six bathrooms in addition to five bedrooms and breakfast areas.
Cliff May was the architect who designed the house.
In the meantime, Lopez sold a double penthouse with four bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms.
“Ben’s decision to move into his own home is the final insult,” a source said to RadarOnline.
This is the clearest indication yet that Affleck and Jennifer’s marriage might be ending in divorce.
The I Am This…After paying $60 million for the mansion in May, the artist and Affleck put their Beverly Hills property up for sale earlier this month, but they were unable to find a buyer right away.
Amidst rumors that they are living separately, they recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary apart.
Affleck had been renting a $100,000 monthly home near his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s Brentwood home while Lopez remained in their marital residence.
Between 2005 and 2018, he and Garner, 52, were wed. Their children are Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12 years old.
After Affleck and Lopez hadn’t been spotted together since late March, rumors about their marital problems started to spread in May.
“Ben already moved out and they’ll probably have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for,” a source said to In Touch at the time.
They will always be in love, but neither she nor he can make the other stop loving them. It could not have continued in any way.

Additionally, the pair was apart for the Fourth of July weekend, as the This Is Me… The Deep Water actor remained in Los Angeles, but the Now star celebrated with her family and friends in the Hamptons.
Reports that Jen and Ben had been living apart for “months” earlier this summer sparked rumors that they were getting divorced.
On Wednesday, Us Weekly asserted that there is a “sliver of hope” for Ben and Jennifer to reconcile.
The insider stated, “Jennifer suggested they just take time to figure it out.”
