Ben Affleck, 51, rocker tee and NO ring unveils midlife crisis makeover as he emerges

When Ben Affleck appeared in Los Angeles over the weekend during his marital troubles with Jennifer Lopez, he revealed an astonishing midlife crisis makeover.

After two months of not being spotted together, JLo, 55, and Ben, 51, are reportedly ready to file for divorce, according to DailyMail.com sources.

JLo was seen leaving the house on Thursday night without her wedding band and with her engagement ring on her right hand.

Ben has now shown his stunning new appearance, which includes a Red Hot Chili Peppers t-shirt and a little faux-hawk.

He completed the look with aviator sunglasses, skinny jeans, and an undersized black leather jacket; nevertheless, he notably lacked his wedding ring.

Making an attempt at a punk rock look, he nearly entirely shaved the sides of his head, leaving only the smallest amount of scruff behind.

He was seen wandering around a parking lot when he got on his electric motorcycle, put his helmet on properly, and rode off.

Ben also had a significant change in his appearance as he was divorcing his first wife, Jennifer Garner, who was also the mother of his three kids.

After people started commenting on his enormous back tattoo of a phoenix on social media, he got it, despite his original claim that it was “fake for a role.”

Years later, though, he acknowledged the body art was real after the New Yorker made fun of “his enormous, garish tattoo.”

Ben Affleck responded to the New Yorker article, titled The Great Sadness Of Ben Affleck, on Twitter, saying, “I’m doing just fine.” gaudy tattoos supporting thick skin

A close friend of Ben’s revealed to Dailymail.com that JLo’s alcohol endeavor was “one of the things that broke the camel’s back,” prompting Ben to undergo yet another makeover.

But it’s acknowledged that the beverages company was founded before they reconciled, and Ben knew about and encouraged the venture.

They even go so far as to imply that, in the midst of rumors that their marriage is finally over, it helped Ben—not Jen—decide to call it quits.

Why did Ben find this prominent business venture so offensive? According to friends, he regarded his wife’s sales of vodka and tequila tipples demeaning because he was in recovery from alcoholism. After all, he had battled his addiction for many years.

He was reported to be distraught when the label was originally introduced in the previous year.

The fact that he thought her sole purpose for starting her drink brand was to make hard, cold cash just made him feel more upset.

Ben went to treatment for his drinking for the first time in 2001, and he has since gone several times.

Worse, J-Lo then embarked on a highly visible promotional tour, telling the Press how much she enjoys drinking to “relax and let loose.”

She even shared a photo of herself this week to promote the newest item in the line, showing herself relaxing on a sunbed while wearing a swimming costume.

“After overcoming alcohol,” the actor’s buddy said to the Mail, “Ben had to fight to get his life back.

” Knowing that he had lost everything, including his family’s love, and that he would relapse, Jen made the seemingly senseless decision to launch her own spritzer line in an attempt to get extra money.

“One of the things that broke the camel’s back was this.” However, Ben maintained his sobriety.

The Mail disclosed last week that Jen and Ben, who acted in Oscar-winning films like Argo and Good Will Hunting, had completed their divorce documentation and plan to file at the end of the summer.

Ben left their enormous Beverly Hills property, which they had purchased soon after being married in July 2022, in May 2023.

According to several sources, the couple’s divorce papers “are finalized, but not yet turned in,” following a last-ditch attempt at reconciliation that failed in recent weeks.

“They are waiting for the right time to drop them,” one person remarked.

They will then jointly release a statement expressing their deep love for one another and their attempts to work things out but failures.

To be honest, they were never able to reach an amicable agreement. They both acknowledge that what they once had is gone.

What appeared to be a moving story of rediscovered love for someone lost has come to a sad end.

Before getting married, the couple separated in 2004 after becoming together in 2002 and getting engaged.

After that, Ben married Jennifer Garner in 2005, and the two of them had three kids before divorcing in 2015 and being divorced three years later.

Jo-Lo later wed singer-songwriter Marc Anthony, with whom she had twins who were 16 years old. Ten years passed during their marriage.

After J-Lo’s failed engagement to baseball player Alex Rodriguez in 2021, Ben and the singer reconciled, much to the pleasure of fans and fascination of the international press.

The next year, they were married in Las Vegas and had a second, more elaborate ceremony at Ben’s farm in Georgia, which cost $9 million (£7).

The pair hasn’t been spotted together in weeks, though, with Ben missing J-Lo’s Bridgerton-themed 55th birthday celebration last month.

Rather, when the couple listed their $68 million (£53 million) Beverly Hills home for sale, he purchased a $20 (£16) million bachelor apartment in Los Angeles.

But there were problems even last year. Ben saw J-Lo’s April 2023 drink company launch, Delola, as a warning indication that she preferred her profession over him.

This year, their respective desires—his for a secluded existence and hers for unrestricted access to all places—came to a head.

Even though he tried to give in to her demand for attention, their disparate views on their careers caused their marriage to falter.

“Ben was the one to pull the plug on their marriage here,” a friend stated.

He perceived this as picking right back up since Jennifer had led him to believe that she was the same person that she had been when they initially fell in love.

Although he dislikes walking the red carpet with celebrities, he did it because she did.He could no longer handle her infatuation with celebrity.

She had to be loved and captured on camera. He felt as though nothing remained sacred for him because she would reveal so much of herself to everyone. This was something she had to do. Her popularity had become an integral part of her identity.

She could not give up this performance in the end; it was more than simply a job to her.

Like with her three other marriages, she made the decision to prioritize fame over him.

In fact, it seemed like J-Lo was basing a large portion of her recent, successful commercial production on their rekindled romance. Some even claim he was furious because her new album was all about him and that he didn’t agree at all with her This Is Me TV program. Presently: A Tale of Love.

This documentary, which featured Jen’s account of her own road to love, was widely panned and failed to connect with viewers, costing millions of dollars.

Ben was enraged, according to a person close to the couple. He was very much against her doing this. She wanted him to put money into it and participate in something he was vehemently opposed to.

Ultimately, he was relieved that it failed. Their marriage was also ruined by it.

Ben wished for their love tale to remain untold. She was the only one who did.

“They lost £18 million, and Ben’s confidence in her was destroyed.” Ben became enraged when he saw her, as she did on TV, spreading their love letters out on a table for everyone to read. That’s when he realized she prioritized her celebrity over love.

However, colleagues claim that after self-funding it for that sum, J-Lo reportedly sold it to Amazon for a profit.

In fact, J-Lo gave the camera a book during the documentary and said, “This is a book that Ben gave me on our first Christmas back together.”

It’s every email and letter we’ve exchanged, both from 20 years ago and now.

“The Greatest Love Story Never Told by Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck 2001-2010… and counting,” was one of the notes that she highlighted.

However, according to a friend of Ben’s, “she did it anyway, even though he asked her not to because he wanted to keep this stuff private—and because it was too expensive.”

She refused to listen to his requests to cut back on her frequent appearances on red carpets and at events. Still, she dragged him outside. He was never the focus of it. She was the focus at all times.

Undoubtedly, the two appeared nervous at the launch of J-Lo’s Netflix movie The Mother back in May. ‘He’ll joke with me sometimes, asking things like, ‘Where’s the rest of that shirt?” she subsequently disclosed, revealing they had argued about her wardrobe choices.

“Oh, this one doesn’t have anything else,” I think.

Abruptly, J-Lo announced to her followers that she was “taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends” and canceled her planned summer tour.

Ben and actress Jennifer Garner’s ex-husband were later seen driving their 12-year-old son Samuel to basketball practice in Santa Monica.

The following day, J-Lo showed over to watch Samuel play as well and gave her husband an awkward-looking kiss. While his wife has continued to wear her wedding ring, the Batman actor has been spotted recently without it.

And then there was their Beverly Hills mansion, that £53 million stunner. Ben, it appears, just thought the price was too high.

According to friends, J-Lo believed that this would please the entire family, which includes her twins Emme and Max, 16, and Ben’s children Violet, 19, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12. It didn’t occur.

“Purchasing that enormous home was just one more major red flag,” a source close to Ben stated. “He wasn’t interested in that house because of its exorbitant price.” He never felt at home there, and he still finds it hard to believe he moved into the house.

She did not want them to age in a married house. She want a grand building that was more expensive than everyone else’s house so she could show off her marriage and fortune. She believed that everyone would be pleased with this. They battled over this point nonstop.

Tensions also seemed to be generated by a decline in her profession, which she battled so hard to achieve in following the documentary’s failure, a source said.

She lost popularity and less people wanted to watch her perform, which enraged her and led her to vent her frustration on Ben. He informed her that she was to blame for her star’s waning as she had been overexposed.

As her spouse and the person who knew her the best, she took it out on Ben when her documentary and CD failed. She refused to back off when he begged her to.

Although she thought her new record was exquisite, he didn’t think much of it because it was so focused on him.

Notwithstanding the intense feelings surrounding the highly publicized end of their parents’ romance, sources indicate that their five children are eager to maintain communication.

It is difficult for the children, but in the end, they are all rather mature, according to a source. Enough mature to realize that their parents’ relationship was failing. The children will remain close and will fare well.

It was exciting for them to briefly become a family, and they will always treasure this.

But J-Lo, who is 55 years old and has been married four times, is currently unmarried.

Friends worry she ruins her romantic relationships.

One person commented, “She knew she destroyed it all and was really sorry, but it was too late.” He gave it a shot for a few weeks, giving her the benefit of the doubt, even wore the ring at her request to give them some privacy from the press, but he’s done.

She is not residing in the house he found for himself. He is the owner of it. She is aware of this, and they should both move on at this point.

Ben seems to be giving his divorced wife some “time to rebrand.”

The singer’s friends claim that she has altered her appearance and style of clothing.

She is not behaving like a diva and is grinning in public. Her social media presence is cheerful and vibrant, and she openly discusses her genuine feelings of fragility.

She is maintaining her privacy and avoiding the spotlight. In essence, Jennifer is now posing as the person Ben has always believed her to be. He fell in love with her because of this, but he won’t fall in love with her a third time. After two hits, she’s out. They’re finished.
