Being ‘essential’ to her, Jennifer Lopez is ‘eager’ to travel to Toronto to support her former partner Ben Affleck’s film Unstoppable
In order to support her ex-partner Ben Affleck’s movie Unstoppable, Jennifer Lopez is traveling to Toronto. The film is making its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in Canada this Friday night.
And it has now been discovered by DailyMail.com that the 55-year-old movie actor is content to do so.”Jennifer is thrilled to be going to the Toronto Film Festival to support this movie because she really believes in Unstoppable,” a source informed DailyMail.com.
She is honored to have been a part of this wonderful true life narrative. Her greatest highlight was playing an actress in the film. Jennifer wants the movie to succeed as much as possible because it has been receiving a lot of attention.
She constantly puts in a lot of effort to give her films the best chance possible and is a true professional. The film, which has already generated Oscar talk, stars Lopez as the mother of a wrestler in a supporting role.
Lopez will dress to impress for the premiere in her trademark high heels and diamonds.The insider stated, “It will be a short trip, but she will have a few friends and her glam squad with her.” “She has other matters to attend to, so she won’t be in Toronto for very long.”
After two years of marriage, Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben earlier this month. Lopez plays a supporting role in the film, which was directed by Affleck and friend Matt Damon.
Along with Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Lopez’s producing partner, they co-produced the project. PageSix reports that Affleck will not be at the Unstoppable premiere.
After playing in the Special Presentations section of the Toronto International Film Festival, Amazon MGM Studios will release the movie in limited theaters in December 2024.
As revealed earlier this week by DailyMail.com, certain producers of the film were attempting to “push the two to appear together at the premiere in Toronto to create buzz on the film.” However, since just one of the producers will be there, those producers did not get their wish.
Ben and his old friend Damon co-founded Artists Equity, the production company behind the project. Among the 14 producers of the movie are 53-year-old Damon and actor Affleck.
Production on the Amazon MGM Studios movie was completed in January. Ben and Jennifer split up in April.
The pair previously appeared in the films Jersey Girl (2004) and Gigli (2003). Additionally, he made appearances in her documentaries The Greatest Love Story Never Told and This Is Me… Now.
The main character of Unstoppable is wrestler Anthony Robles, who competed at Arizona State University in 2011 and won a national championship despite only having one leg.
Michael Peña, Bobby Cannavale, and Don Cheadle make up the supporting cast, with actor Jharrel Jerome (Moonlight) playing the role of Robles.
William Goldenberg, who previously edited Ben Affleck’s movies Air (2023) and Argo (2012), is directing Unstoppable. Kiss of the Spiderwoman is another film that Ben and Jennifer collaborated on.
It is set in an Argentine prison in 1981 and is based on the same-titled novel by Manuel Puig. In the lead part, Lopez plays Aurora, a make-believe woman designed by Luis Molina (Tonatiuh), a gay hairstylist incarcerated for eight years for allegedly corrupting a juvenile.
Through Artists Equity, Affleck and Damon are among the co-producers. In March 2023, Affleck was questioned by CBS Sunday Mornings regarding working with Lopez on the movie.
“Doing something with her, watching her shine, going to work with your wife, going to work with your best friend—what fun, what a joy,” he exclaimed.
“I believe that one of the things that can really cause depression, anxiety, and pain for people is if you don’t like who you’re working with, or if you have difficulty or trouble at work,” he continued at the time.
On the other hand, you most likely lead a happy life if you get along well with the individuals you work with. During the interview, Affleck added, “Can’t make it look like she’s doing it as a favor to me, but actually she is.” In July 2022, Ben and Jen got married in Las Vegas.

Tuesday morning marked Ben’s last sighting alongside his child Fin and ex-wife Jennifer Garner. They were on their way back from dropping their 18-year-old oldest child off at college.
Lopez filed for divorce a few hours later. It marked their second wedding anniversary.
