At the “Deadpool” premiere, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively pose with Hugh Jackman and Gigi Hadid
When their new Marvel film, Deadpool & Wolverine, made its New York City premiere, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds were joined by some really special guests.
On Monday, July 22, Jackman, 55, and Reynolds, 47, were joined on the red carpet by Reynolds’ spouse, Blake Lively, and their shared good friend, Gigi Hadid, for the much awaited third and final chapter of the Deadpool series.
Reynolds was standing behind Lively, holding her hand, while wearing a sharp black suit and white shirt. The four of them were beaming as they posed for the photographers. The 36-year-old actress from It Ends With Us dazzled in an off-the-shoulder jumpsuit of black and red, possibly referencing Reynolds’ Deadpool character, whose outfit shares the same color palette.

The 36-year-old actress from It Ends With Us dazzled in an off-the-shoulder jumpsuit of black and red, likely an homage to Reynolds’ Deadpool character, whose outfit has the same hues. To finish her outfit, Lively donned Ofira Jewels and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, the husband and wife team said.
Channeling Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Hadid, 29, wore a low-rise skirt with pleats that hit at the knee along with a matching bright yellow crop top. She accessorized her Elizabeth Sulcer-styled ensemble with the distinctive stacked bangles of jewelry designer Alexis Bittar.

Jackman, for his part, maintained a classic appearance in a black-and-white costume.
Lively made a kind comment earlier in the day regarding her husband’s most recent movie, which opens nationwide at the end of this week.
Reynolds, who is dressed as Deadpool, was seen getting a cute kiss from Lively in her photo.
A different slide in the post featured the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants actress saying, “Tell me Deadpool’s married to a millennial girl in real life without telling me,” into the camera.
She then went on to mention several Y2K references that can be found in the movie, such as “NSync,” “I’m With You” by Avril Lavigne, “Céline Dion,” and more. (Lavigne, 39, was present for the premiere as well.)
“Brb “@vancityreynolds, I’m buying milky pens to write your name on my hand,” she wrote. “My fellow young ladies, I should be competitive because @itendswithusmovie will be out in three weeks, but when it comes to middle school obsessions, postpartum emotions, or nice men who use feminism as a tool, your love of Succession, The Wizard of Oz, Sandy & Danny, driving while blasting Avril, the way the choreography of a certain boy band song got me, of Baz Luhrmann fireworks to punctuate a moment, and even the fact that our hair color is determined by the seasons and the French technique by which it’s painted, it’s all so evident. “It’s difficult not to encourage my ladies to see all the ways we’ve influenced @deadpoolmovie,” she went on. Never have I felt such pride. I’ve also given birth four times.”
Lively also addressed a fan who inquired about the long-term pair—who were married in 2012—being divorcing in the post’s comments section after reading “rumors” of difficulty in paradise.
She cheekily responded to the social media user, “Haha they wish.”
Prior to the movie’s premiere in New York City, Jackman and Reynolds appeared on Good Morning America. Additionally, they “took over Times Square” and gave fans autographs.
“We truly have a terrific friendship. About working with his friends on GMA, Jackman remarked, “I had to pinch myself every single day.” On the first day of [director] Shawn Levy’s tenure, Ryan and I snapped a picture.
We were giving each other hugs and touching foreheads when we said, “Let’s not forget this moment and this opportunity.” The movie has turned out even better than I had anticipated.
“We realized this was lightning in a bottle, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Reynolds continued.
