As they share a new photo, Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy reveal the name of their baby boy
The world is meeting Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s baby child!
On Friday, July 12, the couple shared their first close-up photo of their newborn boy on Instagram, revealing the name of their kid.
In a joint post, Murgatroyd, 37, and Chmerkovskiy, 44, said, “💙 Milan Maksim Chmerkovskiy 💙.” “Born 8:48 a.m. on July 12, 24 ‰️ 8 pounds.”
The delighted parents continued, “The fam is complete.”
Milan seems calm in the picture, his eyes closed. Murgatroyd held the baby boy in a hospital bed, with one hand resting on his head and the other on the blanket that covered him.
The announcement of the baby boy’s name was made earlier in the day on Instagram by Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy, who shared a picture of the two of them holding the child in the hospital.
“He is so adorable and has officially been kicked out by his mother!” The two wrote together in a post.

Murgatroyd reposted the birth announcement photo on her Instagram Stories, captioning it, “He’s here 💙,” and the close-up photo of her baby with an animated message that said, “Welcome to the world!” in vibrant colors.
Additionally, Chmerkovskiy reposted their baby boy’s posts, ecstatically commenting, “Mom and dad of three!!!” above the initial post the pair had made.
He wrote, “Today was a fantastic day!!!” next to their son’s most recent picture. “Hi Milan, welcome to the family!”
After seven years of marriage, Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy have two kids, Rio, who is one year old, and Shai, who is seven.
In February, the couple took to Instagram to reveal that they were expecting their third child.
Chermerkovskiy made a solo appearance at the 2024 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, July 11, only hours before they welcomed their son.
The former participant in Dancing with the Stars said PEOPLE during the event that he was prepared to leave quickly because his wife was about to give birth.
He remarked, “I mean, I’m going to run to see the sign that you have a third child.”
Fortunately, the three-father arrived in time to see his newborn son!
