As they leave the gym, Amy Robach and T. J. Holmes have a heated discussion

When Amy Robach and T. J. Holmes were observed out and about in New York City on Tuesday, it appeared as though they were deep in the middle of an intense conversation.

After working out at the gym together, the ex-ABC News employees, who were fired due to their affair, looked healthy.

As they headed home, the pair appeared unhappy as they conversed.

As they conversed, Amy, 51, was spotted making a lot of gestures, and T. J., 46, appeared stern whenever he wasn’t in close proximity to her face.

The interaction occurs after Amy disclosed earlier in the summer how she reached her ‘lowest point’ following the revelation of her relationship with T. J.

Amy wore her black tank top, which accentuated her toned arms, with a pair of dark olive sweatpants. Her outfit was casual.

The news woman wore clear plastic strap shoes to accentuate her stature and wore a stylish black rucksack.

She chose to wear a pair of angular black cat-eye sunglasses and wear her blond hair up in a top knot out of convenience and comfort.

T. J. was dressed similarly casually, wearing dark blue trousers and a basic gray T-shirt.

In addition, he had a cross-body strapped bag and a timeless pair of white trainers on.

The news reporter had a bottle of cranberry juice by his side and was wearing dark tortoiseshell sunglasses to block off the light.

On the June 2 podcast episode of Amy & T. J., which had singer-songwriter Rachel Platten as a guest, Amy disclosed her lowest point following the disclosure of her affair.

Before recording, T.J. said that the two had gone to see Platten perform, and he mentioned that Amy had been “wiping tears from her face.”

Before revealing how the 2015 smash song Fight Song had touched her, Amy gushed over the musician.

We have some experience passing through a dark period, emerging unscathed, and realizing when the worst has occurred, she remarked. “And I’ve truly hit rock bottom and I thought I had hit it before.”

She acknowledged that during the couple’s dramatic exit from the morning TV show, the song had turned into her “anthem.”

T. J., on the other hand, described the letting go process as “weird” but “freeing.”

He acknowledged that the experience was unpleasant but insisted it was vital to discover “where I’m supposed to be.” You underestimate how bad it is.

One year to the day after leaving GMA, on December 5, the pair released the debut episode of their self-titled podcast, which they started last year.

Following the start of suspicions about their affair, Amy and T. J. were “temporarily removed” from the program in 2022. Officially, they were fired on January 27, of last year.

We were the first to reveal their relationship when photos saw the couple becoming chummy at an upstate New York getaway.

Hours after pre-recording their daily segment, the couple was sighted in O’Donoghue’s bar in Times Square on November 10, 2022, one day before the now-famous weekend vacation.

According to a witness, “They were totally into each other,” DailyMail.com reported.

They were staring at one other’s phones and she was laughing at anything he was saying. She laughed so hard she nearly fell into his lap at one point, sort of dancing to the music in her chair.

After a morning shoot, Holmes was spotted the next day leaving his apartment with a bag and a rucksack and making his way to a restaurant in the West Village that was close to Robach’s residence.

Shortly after, he turned the corner and went up the block to Robach’s BMW convertible, which was waiting for him to be picked up.

After leaving the city, the two drove for two hours to the Shawangunk Mountains, where they spent the weekend in a secluded home.

After filming for the day ended on November 17, the two got back together. It was at NYU Langone Medical Center that Holmes met Robach, a survivor of Stage 2 breast cancer. Afterwards, Robach’s buddy stayed in her apartment with Holmes while she walked her dog.

Less than a month after the images were released, the pair was taken off the air, although viewers were informed that the alteration would only be “temporary.”

Staff members received an email note in January informing them of the two’s departure.

Part of the statement said, “After multiple fruitful discussions about various options with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News.”

“We appreciate their contributions and acknowledge their talent and dedication over the years.”

Only a few days after the affair became public, Robach’s ex-husband Andrew Shue deleted any evidence of her from social media.

After Robach and Tim McIntosh split up in 2008, the couple got married. Their blended family consisted of five children from their prior marriages.

After supposedly splitting up in August of 2022, Holmes and his ex-wife Marilee Fiebig got divorced in December of that same year.

The couple, who had been married for 12 years, welcomed a daughter in 2013. From his first marriage to Amy Ferson, Holmes is also the father of two other children, a daughter and a son.

Unexpectedly, it turned out that Shue and Fiebig had been dating for around six months in December 2023. Insiders attested to the fact that the two became close after the affair.
