In an attempt to salvage her comeback, Katy Perry revealed the very sensual alternate cover for her upcoming album, 143, on Thursday.
In the ‘exclusive’ cover shoot for Urban Outfitters, the 39-year-old Teenage Dream hitmaker flaunts her renowned bust by donning a provocative star-shaped bikini top and a sheer black cutout dress.
She is positioned with one arm behind her head, her eyes closed, and her lips slightly open against a beautiful blue background.
A gloomy red tint illuminates half of Katy’s slim form, her windswept raven hair cascading down her back.
British photographer Jack Bridgland worked with OTM creative director Tal Midyan to take the eye-catching cover image.
The original 143 album cover, as well as the artwork for Katy’s first single Woman’s World and future single Lifetimes, were created by the amazing duo.
“143 exclusively for @urbanoutfitters [star-emoji],” the 13-time Grammy nominee captioned the photo on Wednesday, garnering close to 400,000 likes.

Katy took to Instagram a day after the cover was revealed to share brand-new behind-the-scenes images from her Lifetimes video shoot in Ibiza.
In the breathtaking photos, Katy can be seen climbing on the massive monolithic pillars that make up the “Stonehenge of Ibiza” while wearing a mirrored sarong.
The gorgeous woman with raven hair reminded her 206 million fans that Lifetimes will be available at midnight on August 9—”one week” from now.
She also urged listeners to “pre-save” the song on the streaming service of their choice.
Earlier this week, Katy revealed that Lifetimes will be the second single off 143.
The pop sensation shared the following message on Monday morning to her 206 million Instagram followers: “LIFETIMES AUGUST 9 SONG + VIDEO PRE-SAVE NOW KATY.TO/LIFETIMES.”
She said lately that Daisy, the daughter of her and fiancé Orlando Bloom, who turns four on August 20, served as the inspiration for the song.
To go along with the teaser clip, Katy choreographed a dance alongside influencers Brooke Blewitt and Jess Qualter; Irish vocalists Jedward also made an appearance.
Less than a month has passed since her comeback single, Woman’s World, failed to win over admirers.
The announcement post for Lifetimes has received 165,000 likes so far, indicating that fans are eager to see the musician bounce back from the unimpressive first single from the project.
In an appearance on The One Show, Katy disclosed how her kid served as the inspiration for her next song.
She explained that the song’s inspiration came from a cute conversation she had with the child.
“Lifetimes is a song that I wrote inspired by my daughter,” the ecstatic mother exclaimed. Of course, I always tell her “I love you” before she goes to bed, but lately I’ve also asked, “Will you find me in every lifetime?” To which she always responds, “Yes.”
“The sweetest thing is we’ve been all over Europe this summer and we’ve been to a lot of beaches and I bought a big stack of chocolate gold coins, and when we’re building sandcastles I will hide them as she’s digging and she will find them, so she loves finding chocolate coins,” the singer-songwriter said in another anecdote.
I asked, “Will you find me in every lifetime?” the other day. and she responded, “Yes, and together, we’ll find chocolate coins!”
September 20 is the scheduled release date for the performer’s album 143.

Dr. Luke, whom singer Kesha has accused of sexual assault and rape, controversially co-produced the Hot N Cold hitmaker’s song Woman’s World.
She previously collaborated with the 50-year-old music producer on a number of her hits, including Teenage Dream and I Kissed A Girl.
Late in June, Katy started to tease the new single. On July 11 and 12, the entire song and video were released simultaneously.
“She is aware that collaborating with Dr. Luke once more may cause controversy, but their rapport and working relationship are so strong that she perceives him differently than others,” a source recently told DailyMail.com.
