As her son Rocco turns 24, Madonna shares a treasure trove of private images and videos

“We have shared countless lifetimes together. “I appreciate being chosen once more,” the performer wrote to her son.

Madonna is honoring her firstborn son!

The celebrity’s son, Rocco Ritchie, who she has with her ex Guy Ritchie, turned 24 on Saturday, August 11. Madonna, 65, celebrated the occasion with a lovely Instagram post that included 20 pictures and videos of him over the years.

She began the post with a photo of herself and her son, Rocco kissing her on the forehead. Next, she included a cute home video of the now-24-year-old with her 27-year-old sister, Lourdes Leon.

She also included photos of Rocco’s different styles, from buzzcuts to pigtails, in the remainder of the post, along with some of his artwork, which included a painted portrait of his pop star mother.

She captioned the image, which featured a more current photo of her and Rocco on a boat, with a sincere birthday wish.

“Happy birthday, Ralph—the journey through all of your various moods and incarnations has been a turbulent and unexpected journey,” wrote Madonna. “Yet your artistic soul and curiosity have been the glue that kept us together through it all.”

“Grateful for Art,” she went on. “Grateful to God for you. We have shared countless lifetimes together. I appreciate you picking me one more. I love you for all of eternity. ❥️

The singer of “Material Girl” most recently shared a post on Instagram that she dedicated to Rocco back in April while she was at his Miami art exhibition. She also sweetly supported him at the time.

Madonna captioned the photo, saying, “So happy to have the night off to enjoy my son Rocco’s latest collection of paintings called ‘Pack A Punch,’ inspired by Muay Thai fighters.” “Very Proud!” @miamidesigndistrict ♥️♥️♥️.

The star’s other children, David, 18, Mercy, 18, and the twins Stella and Estere, 11, were all present for the show.

Madonna talked candidly earlier this year about her six children and what it’s like to engage them in her work and live performances.

The happy mother stated, “When I go on tour, nothing brings me more happiness than to know we are all working on the same show, creating the magic together,” in reference to the conclusion of her Celebration Tour with W. Magazine in April.

She continued, “Obviously, as their mother, we can irritate one another at times. “That is what happens; we are a family of artists, but we are also a family.”
