After Shocking Dropping of Charges, Alec Baldwin Spotted on FIRST Red Carpet with Wife Hilaria
One week after his Rust shooting case was dropped, Alec Baldwin made his first red carpet appearance on Saturday in East Hampton accompanied by his wife, Hilaria.
The 66-year-old star of 30 Rock, who intends to sue the sheriff and prosecution for concealing evidence in the case, smiled while watching HamptonsFilm SummerDocs’ presentation of War Game.
His attendance at the function came soon after the actor, who was pictured sobbing in a Sante Fe courtroom after learning of the judge’s ruling, broke down in tears.
Baldwin wore a black jacket over top of a light blue shirt and dark gray pants, all of which combined for a chic yet casual look.

The performer finished off his weekend attire by donning a pair of black leather loafers.
Hilaria also dressed for the event, donning a figure-hugging pink dress that hugged her body and was secured around her shoulders with thick straps.
She put on a pair of white heels with closed toes and let her dark hair fall in graceful waves past her shoulders.
The mother-of-seven chose simple accessories, adorning each hand with a few eye-catching rings and a tiny set of rhinestone earrings.
After arriving at the special screening at the Regal UA East Hampton theater, Alec and Hilaria, who got married in 2012, struck a number of poses together.
As the sun was lowering on his arrival at the stadium, he was also spotted waving to admirers outside.

Baldwin’s public appearance occurs barely one week after the Rust shooting case was dropped, which made the celebrity and his spouse very upset.
Following the judge’s ruling, the late cinematographer Matthew Hutchins’ widower made a statement expressing his “respect for the court’s decision.”
‘We look forward to presenting all the evidence to a jury and holding Mr. Baldwin accountable for his actions in the senseless death of Halyna,’ he added, nevertheless.
In addition, he intends to sue the state prosecutor and sheriff of New Mexico for allegedly withholding evidence from his defense team during their unsuccessful attempt to convict him for the shooting death of Halyna Hutchins on the Rust set.
Following a New Mexico judge’s ruling that Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza and prosecutor Kari Morrissey had concealed information regarding the source of the live bullet that killed Halyna Hutchins in 2021, Baldwin’s charges of involuntary manslaughter were dropped.
More than two years after the incident, in March, a guy dropped off the evidence at the sheriff’s office, stating it might be pertinent.
However, the investigators didn’t tell Baldwin’s defense team about it because they thought it was irrelevant and inconsequential.
According to copies of the letters reviewed by Reuters, Baldwin’s attorneys requested in letters dated Monday that Morrissey and Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza hold onto certain papers for potential legal action.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office acknowledged receiving the letter from Baldwin’s attorneys on Wednesday, but they would not elaborate. Morrissey did not answer a request for comment right away.
As they lined up a camera shot on a movie set near Santa Fe, Hutchins was shot and killed by Baldwin.
Hannah Gutierrez, the film’s chief weapons handler, accidentally placed a live cartridge into the gun, causing it to fire.

Earlier this year, Gutierrez was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
Serving an 18-month sentence, Gutierrez filed a motion on Tuesday to have the allegations against him dismissed due to the prosecution’ refusal to provide relevant documentation.
They said that the prosecution withheld information about the live rounds, the firearms expert Lucien Haag’s test of Baldwin’s weapon, and an interview with Seth Kenney, who provided props for the film.
Shortly before judge Mary Marlowe Sommer dropped Baldwin’s charges on Friday, Erlinda Johnson announced her resignation as Morrissey’s assistant in charge of the prosecution.
In the months after her appointment in April, Johnson said Reuters, the defense has contacted her for information when Morrissey failed to produce the records they had asked, and she has given them access to unredacted documents.

She stated, “As prosecutors, we have a duty to reveal all the evidence,” and she thought the case should be dropped. “We owe a duty not just to the people, but also to the defendants who stand accused of crimes.”
Johnson said that she did not provide Baldwin’s legal team with information about the live bullets and that she was first made aware of this evidence by the defense during a courtroom witness.
Alec broke his quiet and wrote on Instagram following the case’s dismissal, saying, “There are too many people who have supported me to thank just now.”
“You all have no idea how much I appreciate all of your kindness toward my family,” he continued.
