With pride, Amanda Holden disclosed that her daughter Lexi Hughes received a position at her top university after completing her A-Levels.
The hopeful model, 18, is the daughter of the 53-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge, who made sure to take her out for a celebratory dinner after learning that she had passed her exams.

It follows Lexi’s unexpected hospitalization earlier this year due to an E. Coli infection.
Amanda told The Sun that her daughter Lexi had been experiencing stomach pains and bloating while talking about the warning signals to watch out for during the most recent epidemic.
She stated: “I was just putting this down to exam stress because it was around the time of revision and her A-levels.” “Lexi had been complaining of bloating and stomach cramps for about three weeks,” the woman claimed.
“She was not happy at all and in quite a lot of pain with her tummy.” Amanda did, however, acknowledge that the results of seeing her daughter’s GP, who insisted on her taking blood and stool samples, revealed a bacterial infection.

Amanda said that the cultures came back and that Lexi had VTEC E. coli, a very dangerous kind of bacteria that is extremely uncommon in humans.The presenter of HeartFM also expressed her confusion over the news, saying she couldn’t figure out how her daughter contracted the bacterial infection.
Since the virus is typically associated with farmers, she acknowledged that she even had her cat and rabbits examined after the doctor inquired about if she owned any animals or lived on a farm.
The actress also admitted that her daughter’s antibiotics didn’t seem to be helping. She said her doctor called and said, “I don’t want to alarm you,” but then that Lexi’s blood pressure was “through the roof,” and she was worried that her daughter might be developing sepsis.
To put it mildly, the mother of two declared that learning the term “sepsis” was “terrifying.”
