According to Gina Gershon, Tom Cruise nearly suffered a broken nose during filming the cocktail love scene. “I Touched Him”
On the 1988 film’s set, Gershon acknowledged that she unintentionally hurt Cruise when he tickled her.
A strange accident almost befell Tom Cruise during the 1988 production of Cocktail.
On Wednesday, August 7, he appeared on Watch What Happens Live, when costar Gina Gershon disclosed that during the shoot, she almost “broke” her costar’s nose.

When a viewer asked if Gershon and Cruise had ever dated in real life, the 62-year-old refused to say yes, but she did say she had her “first love scene ever” with the Mission Impossible star.
Gershon claimed that Cruise “totally” looked after her during the movie, but she acknowledged that there was a time when she wasn’t able to say the same about her looking after him. Gershon made this claim to host Andy Cohen and fellow guest Cate Blanchett.
He begins off beneath the blankets, and I told him that made me feel so ticklish. I told him to never do that again. Gershon remembers working with Cruise’s Brian Flanagan on a romantic sequence in the film in which she played Coral.
“I have to say this in one take. I believe he was looking for a response because he gripped my stomach and I gave him a sharp nose-kick. “Oh my god, I just broke Tom Cruise’s nose,” I exclaimed. “No, no you told me,” he says. She said, “I’m so sorry, and he was like, ‘No, it was my fault.'”
“He was really watchful of me. He was excellent, Gershon continued.

Upon being initially questioned about her relationship with Cruise, Gershon became adamant, saying, “Oh my God, do you think I would actually answer that?” Mimi Rogers, his then-wife, “was very present,” he continued, making sure to introduce herself.
She did concede, though, that during the amorous scenes on camera, “we did kiss as much as we could.”
Cruise is well-known for pulling off spectacular feats in several of his films, but he has sustained numerous injuries throughout the years.
According to TMZ, the Top Gun star is even reportedly getting ready to do a skydiving stunt on August 11 at the 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony.

The film producer is said to have gone above and beyond in the grand finale to officially turn over the 2028 Olympic Games to Los Angeles, the next host city.
Carrying the Olympic flag, Cruise, or a possible stunt double, is reportedly preparing to rappel from the top of the Stade de France and land on the stadium field. After that, a previously filmed movie will depict Cruise’s flight back to Los Angeles before he skydives to the Hollywood sign.
