On Thursday, one of the biggest musical performers of the 20th and 21st century was spotted showing her new partner some love in public for the first time.
The 66-year-old Madonna didn’t let the roughly 40-year age difference between her and her new partner Akeem Morris deter her from displaying some serious PDA while taking a boat trip near the popular Italian vacation spot Positano.
The 28-year-old soccer player, who was born in Jamaica, was given a passionate kiss by the A-list hitmaker as she leaned in.
A day after the sultry beach rendezvous, Madonna is due to celebrate her birthday with up to 500 famous guests on Friday. In the meantime, she has been easing into her new romance.
Even though locals were amazed at how little Madonna paid to rent the historic venue, she will be ringing in her 66th year at a Pompeii amphitheater that is over 2,000 years old.
Seated opposite the singer (born Madonna Louise Ciccone), Akeem was observed making affectionate gestures toward her as the small boat approached the steep cliffs of the hamlet, which is situated on the Amalfi coast and is a well-liked tourist destination.
Madonna made sure to wear something chic for her star-studded birthday celebration, but while she was out and about on the coast, she chose to be comfortable and shield herself from the sun.
Her long, blond, braided pigtails peeked out from under her floppy, wide-brimmed, beige Gucci hat. She accessorized her headgear with black leggings that accentuated her trim form and a long-sleeved black blouse with white writing across her chest.
The singer of Like A Prayer finished the ensemble with a pair of bulky white trainers that provided more traction on the boat’s damp decks.
Akeem was dressed similarly, sporting cobalt blue sneakers and a black T-shirt with black shorts wrapped in a vivid pattern. Under his black trucker cap, his hair was worn in slim dreadlocks that flowed down to his shoulders.
Suddenly, as if from the choppy waves, the Material Girl seemed to pitch forward and put her hands on Akeem’s lap. Several other friends joined the couple on the boat, but their gaze were completely focused on one another.
Madonna didn’t mind flaunting her new affair for the world to see despite the public setting. She perspired next to Akeem and then grabbed her new boyfriend’s head and drew him in for an intense make-out session. The other passengers on the boat appeared unaffected by the amorous show, as seen by their backs turned toward the surf.
Madonna and her partner were also spotted wandering side by side on the cliffs’ rock-carved steps. Apart from Akeem, Madonna also seemed to have a few more kids with her before celebrating her Italian birthday: her sons, 18-year-old David Banda and 24-year-old Rocco Ritchie.
In addition, she has two other daughters: 18-year-old Mercy James and 27-year-old Lourdes Leon. It was unclear whether or not all of her kids would be present at the birthday celebration.
Madonna welcomed Rocco during her relationship with filmmaker Guy Ritchie, but she shares Lourdes with her ex-boyfriend, the fitness trainer Carlos Leon.
After dating for a while in 1998 and being married in late 2000—just one day after Rocco was christened—the couple later got divorced in 2008.
After being adopted by Madonna, David, Mercy, Stella, and Estere were all born in Malawi. Rocco, who was going on a boat cruise, appeared at ease wearing a gray tank top and shorts with a green design. When Madonna wasn’t sailing, she was photographed outside on the balcony of a stunning white building, attempting to beat the heat.
The vocalist of “Into The Groove” carried a cream-colored lace parasol with her, which she opened to partially blot out the sun. She had her long golden hair flowing down her shoulders without a braid this time.

As his relationship with Madonna intensified, Akeem’s ex-girlfriend appeared to confirm their relationship when she posted an acrimonious picture of herself with her “boyfriend of three years” dating the singer.
Born in Jamaica on May 2, 1996, Akeem currently resides in New York City. From 2014 to 2018, he attended Stony Brook University, where he majored in political science and government and graduated with a bachelor’s degree.
He played soccer for the college squad from 2014 to 2017, showcasing his skill. Akeem also played forward for Oyster Bay United FC of New York for a limited period of time, according to ESPN.
The athlete, who starred in Madonna’s August 2022 Paper Magazine cover shot, was spotted earlier on Tuesday strolling through Portofino with the musician, who is 37 years his older.
While Madonna went all out in a black lace dress, he looked effortlessly put together in a tan ribbed sweater and beige shorts. The hitmaker faced criticism from neighbors who live close to the Pompeii amphitheater where she is hosting her birthday celebration. They were upset to hear that she was able to rent it out for just €30,000, or roughly $33,085.
